Foraging is one of the many skills players can learn in Coral Island. It allows them to be self-sufficient as they try to settle on their new farm. Players can scavenge the island for all sorts of wild items. The items available for foraging on the island change depending on the current season.

One such seasonable forageable in the game is Wasabi. It is a greenish root vegetable that has a hot and spicy flavor. Wasabi is commonly eaten as a condiment and is commonly used as a side dish to sashimi. It is a pretty rare find in Coral Island. This guide comprises all the possible locations where players can find Wasabi.

Where to Find Wasabi in Coral Island

Wasabi is a light-green root vegetable that blends in really well with the lush green areas of the island, making it difficult to find. Players can only forage Wasabi during the Spring season in Coral Island. It spawns in the following locations:

  • Garden Lane
  • Woodlands
  • The Forest

Players will need to thoroughly explore each of these areas. As soon as they spot a leafy green vegetable sticking out of the ground, they should collect it. Doing so will move Wasabi to the player’s inventory, allowing them to use it however they want.

Alternatively, players may find Wasabi in trash cans located all over Coral Island if they rummage through them during spring. If players have a friendship of two or more hearts with Paul, a wildlife enthusiast, he may send Wasabi to the player via mail.

Wasabi is only available during spring. As soon as the season ends, i.e., after 28 days, Wasabi can not be found anymore. This is why players should collect as much Wasabi as possible when it is available.

Uses of Wasabi in Coral Island

Wasabi is an essential requirement to complete the Spring Sesajen offering at the Lake Temple’s Crop altar. By completing all the offerings at the Crop altar, players can unlock the Green House.

Additionally, Wasabi can be used in the following recipes:

  • Sashimi: The recipe for this tasty dish can be unlocked when the islander reaches 1 friendship heart with Rafael. The ingredients required are 1 Fish (any kind) and 1 Wasabi. Players also need a Chef’s knife to cook Sashimi.
  • Wasabi paste: This zingy condiment can be cooked by the player in their kitchen by processing 1 Wasabi in a blender.
