Like recent farming and life sims games that have been released into the indie world, befriending the locals is a top priority. And this is the same for Coral Island, the newest addition to the farming sim genre. Coral Island has a similar feel of Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, but with a lot more to do and more characters to meet. With over 50 villagers in Coral Island, 25 of them are available to romance if players are interested, which is double what players are used to in Stardew Valley.

Thanks to this, players have an opportunity to find someone they think is suitable depending on their interests and personality, but it can be hard to narrow down who is the best romance option. There are several opinions on who is the best, even with it being in Early Access, and some agree that Scott is a great candidate. He is an archeologist that works at the museum, and is often seen at the Caverns. Players will get to know him well as they work towards expanding the museum, and will soon learn that he is a city boy at heart with a passion of artifacts. He came to Coral Island to start a new life as he was previously known as a playboy and wanted to get away from his old life.

Gift Guide

coral island museum expansion (1)

Everyone loves gifts, and life and farming sims have made it so players can gift characters various loved and liked items to grow relationships. While talking to everyone is a great way to grow hearts, gifting is probably the fastest and easiest way. Gifting on birthdays is another great way to grow relationships, so make sure to prepare a special loved item for Scott on his birthday the 12th day of Spring.
