How to Farm Resin in Coral Island

To get Resin on your farm, you need to attach taps to pine, poplar, or mahogany trees. Each tap will yield one jar of resin every three days. It’s crucial to collect the jars manually from the trees once they are filled; otherwise, the production will cease.

Unfortunately, none of the island’s merchants sell Resin, so your sole option to obtain this resource is to produce it on your own. This entails planting enough pine, poplar, or mahogany trees and ensuring you have an adequate number of taps to extract all their resin.

Taps don’t necessarily have to be placed only on your farm. If you come across a cluster of resin-yielding trees on the island, feel free to attach taps to them to obtain some free resin. The only caveat is remembering the locations of these trees, as you’ll need to return to collect the products.

You unlock the tap’s blueprint after reaching level four of Foraging Mastery. Upon obtaining the blueprint, you must pay 50 planks of wood and 3 bronze bars to craft one tap. Utilizing this item is similar to other devices; simply approach a resin-rich tree with the tap in hand and interact with it.

Taps can only be used on three types of trees: pines, poplars, and mahoganies. You can either plant these trees on your farm or utilize the ones scattered around the island.

In this version, Resin is not used in any recipes for cooking, as it’s not consumable. While you can sell excess jars of Resin for 145 Coral Coins, it’s advisable to retain this resource as it proves useful in crafting.
