How to Marry a Character in Coral Island

To marry a villager, you must earn 10 Hearts and complete all the romantic cutscenes with them. This will give you the option to propose and go through the wedding ceremony.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  • Get 8 Hearts with a character. First, max out your friendship level with romanceable villagers to level 8. This will initiate a romance.
  • Give your love interest a locket. Shop a special necklace from Sanchez and gift it to your lover.
  • Complete all their Heart Events. Watch all the romantic cutscenes between you and your partner.
  • Propose to them to get married. Talk to them afterward and select “Propose” to marry them.

If you don’t go through all the Heart Event cutscenes, your partner will refuse to marry you, saying they are unprepared.

Your friendship with villagers deepens as you spend time with them. But, the best ways to earn Hearts for them are by giving them gifts, talking to them, doing them favors, and participating in activities.

  • Give them gifts. Each character has a list of likes and dislikes. By giving them favored items, they become more interested in you.
  • Talk to them every day. Simply starting a random conversation with villagers is a good way of earning Heart points.
  • Complete Townboard Errands. Errands are quick favor missions. If you complete some of these tasks for your favorite character, your bond with them will become stronger.
  • Participate in Town Activities. Spending time with your love interest increases your Heart level. Festivals and Town Activities are excellent choices for doing so.

To have babies, choose “Yes” when your spouse asks you if you are ready to have kids. You are allowed to have up to two kids for now. However, if you marry Suki, you can have three—because she’s already a single mom of one.
