The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle released earlier in Summer 2022 and in the months since has proved to be a memorable Chapter for the MMO. The story is different from many other Chapters and DLCs for ESO as it is a more localized, political tale as opposed to the apocalyptic threats of years past.
In addition to this new approach to the questline, the High Isle Chapter for Elder Scrolls Online also introduces two new Companions, new overworld events, lots of new Delves and Public Dungeons, and dozens of new armor sets, antiquities, furnishings, and cosmetics to hunt down, too. With this complete guide to the High Isle Chapter for ESO, you'll know just where to go and what to do to see everything High Isle has to offer.

High Isle Overview
The High Isle Chapter comes with a ton of new features, and it can be overwhelming to comprehend it all if you are a new ESO player. New World Events, World Bosses, Delves, Public Dungeons, Armor Sets, and cosmetics aplenty are all there. There's even a new Card Game, Tales of Tribute, and two new Companions.
Though the guides in this introductory section for the High Isle Chapter are relatively generalized, more specific guides for most of these new systems and mechanics can be found further below. If you're new to the game with the High Isle Chapter, or returning after a while away from ESO, understanding the basics can be helpful for getting your bearings in the Systres Archipelago.

Tales of Tribute - Cards, Patrons, and Strategies
The High Isle Chapter for ESO introduces a pretty major new system, or rather an activity: Tales of Tribute. Tales of Tribute is a deckbuilding card game where both players work with the same draw pile, made up of four decks chosen by each player.
There are eight Patrons for players to choose from at the start of a round - each player chooses two. Understanding these Patrons decks and abilities, which cards synergize and which to avoid, and basic strategies for optimizing play can help in your journey to become a legend of the Royster's Club in your own right.

High Isle Armor Sets and Mythics
There are 10 major new armor sets included with the base High Isle Chapter. Three of these can be crafted at specialty locations throughout High Isle and Amenos, three can be acquired by completing quests and world events in the Systres, and four can only be found in the Dreadsail Reef Trial. As with every expansion for Elder Scrolls Online, these armor sets vary wildly in strength.
There are also five new Mythic items for players to collect through use of the Antiquities system. Mythic items take up a single equipment slot and give unique, powerful bonuses to their wearer. The Oakensoul Ring is the most famous of the High Isle Mythics, but the other four are nothing to be scoffed at.

High Isle Companions, and Cosmetics
The High Isle Chapter comes with countless new cosmetics for players to hunt down, from Breton and Medieval furnishings to coastal pets and mounts. Most of these can be acquired through normal progression, but some require advanced skills in Crafting professions and can be worth quite a pretty penny.
There are also two new Companions in the High Isle Chapter - Isobel and Ember - both of whom have their own particular likes, dislikes, strengths, and unique questline. While you don't necessarily need a companion in ESO, they can be helpful when exploring the overworld, or when a group member disconnects in the middle of a dungeon.
