Attack on Titan is a very popular anime that is in its fourth and final season, and many fans are waiting to see how the story ends. It appears Riverdale star Cole Sprouse is one of those fans, as he recently donned an Eren costume for Halloween.

Attack on Titan is a post-apocalyptic anime that follows a group of human beings as they try to survive in a world against colossal-sized monsters called titans. Sprouse is, of course, known for playing one of the iconic twins from Disney Channels' The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, but he is also known for his role in Riverdale as Jughead Jones. However, after sharing a photograph of his Attack on Titan costume, fans may want him to play a beloved character from the anime.

Sprouse cosplayed as the protagonist from the Attack on Titan series, Eren, around Halloween. The cosplay captured the tied-back black hair of the anime's protagonist along with the seared red vein lines under/above the eyes of Eren. The eye effect is what happens when a character exits the titan form and goes back to being a human being, so it made sense for the actor to add that touch in order to make it clear who he was playing.

Eren started out as a young, ambitious, and driven hero who was determined to end the titan race after watching his mother die as a child. Now, adult Eren is a cold-hearted, calculated, and less forgiving fighter of the war. Fans got to watch his evolution as he developed throughout the series, which came with its criticism. Fans of the Attack on Titan anime and manga often clash over their views on how the show is going, but one thing that they all can agree on is their love for the content.

Anime is becoming wildly more popular and less ostracized as time goes on. Not only is Attack on Titan a very popular anime amongst the masses, but fans have other shows such as Demon Slayer, which recently had a very successful theatrical movie release.

While fans won't be able to catch Sprouse on Attack on Titan, fans can settle for this cool cosplay. Sprouse will be appearing in a few upcoming productions like Moonshot and Undercover, which are both currently in post-production. Maybe if they decide to do another live-action rendition of Attack on Titan, then Sprouse would be the go-to choice for the film.

Attack on Titan is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
