Last week, Bandai Namco released Code Vein, which is an action role-playing game that is often described as "Dark Souls but anime." Code Vein received mostly positive reviews across the board with critics noting that the experience gets better as players dive further into the game. Now, for those interested in trying out the new game, Amazon is currently offering a good deal for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

Players can purchase Code Vein via Amazon for $49.94, which is 17% off its list price of $59.99 and is considered a good deal since the game is barely a week old. The deal is perfect for those players who don't want to pay full price but doesn't want to wait for too long for a discount. It has been two years since Bandai Namco officially unveiled the game, and reviewers have noted that Code Vein takes around 30 hours to beat. Apart from the lengthy main story, Code Vein also offers several side quests that will allow players to further explore the game and its vast environment.

Amazon's Code Vein discount is not the first deal that allowed players to get the game for a cheaper price. A couple of days before its release, Bandai Namco announced that players within the vicinity of TwitchCon 2019 can get the chance to snag Code Vein for free by donating blood in a specially prepared blood drive during the event. This promotion not only gave players the opportunity to play Code Vein for free but also a chance to help others in need. The Code Vein Blood Bank promotion was only available during the event and ended on September 27th.

Meanwhile, Amazon is also offering amazing deals on other upcoming and recently released games. The retailer is giving up to 17% discount on games releasing later this year such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Just Dance 2020, Need for Speed Heat, Shenmue 3, and DOOM Eternal.

Code Vein is available now for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
