List of the New Killstreaks in MW3

The Nuke excluded, Modern Warfare 3 has 23 strike packages. Of these, the following are new Killstreaks or Scorestreaks: Mosquito Drone, SAM Turret, Remote Turret, Guardian-SC, and Juggernaut Recon. Players can unlock these packages by leveling up their Military Rank.

Mosquito Drone

This airborne device is a micro-drone with bombing capabilities. Once it takes flight, it scans the surrounding area for enemies and then crashes into them, causing a lethal explosion.

SAM Turret

An anti-air system, SAM, is a surface-to-air missile that attacks the enemy’s air vehicles.

Remote Turret

The Remote Turret is an automated weapon system that scans, locates, and eliminates enemies at range.

Guardian-SC

Functioning as a dazzler, the Guardian-SC is a stun beam device. When trapped in front of it, the enemy troops will slow down, get blurry visions, and lose their UIs. However, this particular Killstreak is non-lethal and doesn’t cause any direct damage.

Juggernaut Recon

Unlike the minigun setup, the new Juggernaut Recon is a package of Riot Shield, Haymaker (shotgun), and smoke grenade. It also contains a UAV-like radar that exposes nearby enemies for a short duration.

The Best New Killstreak in MW3

Considering the cost and capability, the Mosquito Drone is the most effective Killstreak in Modern Warfare 3. It allows players to disengage from a close-range confrontation and eliminate advancing enemies with an unexpected drone attack. For instance, four consequent kills unlock the Mosquito Drone. Scorestreak does the same per earned score for killing, destroying objects, or completing objectives.
