While working through the White Lotus faction missions in Warzone 2.0 DMZ players will have to begin exploring the maps more in-depth, searching for items that previously have seemed inconsequential but will need to be found and extracted or dead-dropped to complete the higher-level faction missions. One such mission is the Unknown Shipping mission, which will require players to find and extract contraband packages from two different DMZ maps. Completing this mission will reward players with 7500 XP and a Crossbow contraband weapon.

Al-Mazrah

For the Unknown Shipping mission, players will have to find and extract three contraband packages, found in the southwest corner of the Al-Mazrah play area. For the first package, look for the ship with the hole in the side, washed ashore in the D-8 sector on the tac-map. There will be a platoon of Konni forces inside the wrecked ship, so be prepared for a fight. Swim into the hole in the ship and climb up the crates inside the ship on the south end. Once on the lower level of the ship, look at the crates to the left to find the contraband package on top.

The next package is located on the ship to the southeast off the shore of Al-Mazrah near where the UFO spawned during the 2023 Haunting event. Climb onto the ship and head up to the first-floor cabins on the east end of the ship. In the first room with the knocked-over tables and bunks, players can find a contraband package in the northeast corner under the tables to the left of the bunk beds.

The third package can be harder to find as it is located underwater in the sunken ship that is the farthest east - players will need a scuba gas mask to safely acquire this package. Dive underwater, enter the ship in the hole in the side, and swim to the left.

Look at the very back of this underwater area and on a table against the far back wall, players will find the final contraband package on the table. If players do not have a scuba gas mask, simply take the first two packages to extraction, redeploy, and reacquire one of the first two packages and extract again.

Ashika Island

Players can find contraband packages on the two crashed ships on the eastern shore of Ashika Island. Players can find one package on each of the ships - the first package on the northern ship is located on the side of the ship that is on the shore, in the middle of the deck near some chains behind a toolbox.

For the second box, players will want to head to the southern ship and climb into the flooded cargo area. The second contraband package will be located underwater next to a searchable crate.

Progress for the Unknown Shipping mission carries across deployments, so do not worry if all two or three packages cannot be found in the same game. Often, when players select the Unknown Shipping mission, they will deploy near the location of the sunken ships, allowing for rapid acquisition of one or all of the packages.

This also allows the opportunity for multiple teams of operators to spawn close together around the crash site. Players will need to successfully exfil packages to progress the mission, not just collect them, so if one package is safely secured, and it seems risky to search for another, the best option can often be to quickly grab a single contraband package and quickly exfil from the DMZ.

Once players can successfully extract the five packages, the mission will be completed and players will earn 7500 bonus experience and a Crossbow contraband weapon for use on a future deployment.
