During today's Inside Xbox showcase as part of its 20/20 Initiative, a variety of games were shown to the world, as well as the power of the Xbox Series X. Publisher Deep Silver was there to show off a new game titled Chorus.
Deep Silver's new game puts players in control of Nara and Forsaken, a pilot with a past and her sentient starfighter. Chorus is a single-player experience, telling a mature, personal, and redemption story about their struggles against a dark cult. On top of that, Chorus describes itself as a "true evolution of the space combat shooter" genre.
Releasing 2021, Chorus pits Nara and Forsaken against The Great Prophet with powerful weapons and combat upgrades such as extra-sensory perception, teleportation, and kenesis, which players can chain together to become the "ultimate living weapon." The phrase, Rise as One, seems important in explaining Nara and Forsaken's relationship.
