Any hardcore fans that are constantly keeping up with the manga know that there are tons of new scenes that audiences can't wait to see animated. To keep any die-hard Chainsaw Man fans satisfied, newer scenes from the manga have been added to keep the ever-growing list up to date.

Major spoilers ahead!

13 Bucky's Introduction

Chainsaw Man Bucky

Bucky may be a bit scary at first glance, but after seeing a bit more of his personality come out, it's clear that this Chicken Devil is much more of a kind friend rather than a foe. Bucky is introduced around chapter 98 in Asa's school as the class pet. While the class is initially tasked with killing him after eight months, they come together and tell their teacher that they refuse to follow through and kill their beloved friend, Bucky.

Bucky's voice, cadence, and mannerisms will be a treat for audiences; finally seeing the little chicken friend in action, interacting with all of Asa's classmates.

12 Yoru Possesses Asa

Chainsaw Man Asa & Yoru

After dealing with Makima, the manga switches the spotlight over to the young Asa Mitaka; a lonely, misunderstood schoolgirl. After a horrific encounter with a devil, she finds herself possessed by (or rather "fused" with) the War Devil, one of the deadly Four Horsemen.

Asa awakens the next day assuming everything to be a dream, but unfortunately for her, it was incredibly real. The War Devil, going by the name Yoru, is now a fiend, possessing the nervous Asa, becoming the deuteragonist of the manga. Asa's possession and overall interactions with Yoru will be fascinating to see when brought over to full animation.

Will Yoru be transparent to indicate that others cannot see her, only Asa can? Will Yoru have a completely different voice actress to play her or will Asa's voice actress be in charge of voicing them both but in different tones? Only Studio Mappa knows!

11 Yoshida's Time To Shine

Chainsaw Man Denji And Yoshida

Up until now, Yoshida Hirofumi has only gotten a short amount of time in the spotlight. He had his fight with Quanxi, but after his mission with Denji, he seemed to have disappeared. However, the quiet boy finally got his chance to return and as soon as he did, the audience witnessed the start of a hilariously wholesome "friendship" between the two.

While Denji is occupied with taking care of Nayuta and getting a girlfriend (and sees Yoshida as more of a pest than a friend), Yoshida is more concerned with keeping an eye on Denji and keeping his identity as Chainsaw Man a secret.

Seeing the duo interact in full animation will be a nice treat, reminding fans of the good old days Denji had with Aki.

10 Denji Vs. Asa/Yoru & Yuko

Chainsaw Man Denji Vs. Yoru & Yuko

Almost every fight in Chainsaw Man is action-packed and seeing the manga panels transfer over to full, fluid animation is even more exciting! One of the biggest fights in the manga so far is Denji's face-off against not only a transformed Yuko (now with a contract with a devil) but also a determined Asa. Yuko's new self is massive and grotesque and surely be a disgusting treat to see in full color in the anime.

Of course, Asa refused to sit back and watch her friend fight the vicious Chainsaw Man on her own, she had to step in as well. Until this point, Asa and Yoru had only made plans to achieve Yoru's goals in theory, not in practice. This is the first time the audience finally sees Asa truly fight and not simply try to flee.

9 Denji & Asa's Aquarium Date

Chainsaw Man Asa & Denji Aquarium Date

In one of the more wholesome parts of the series, Denji finally gets to go on a date. Asa decides to woo her target with clever facts about all the sea life found around the aquarium, but (obviously) fails when she quickly loses Denji's attention.

Of course, nothing is simple in the world of Chainsaw Man, and poor Denji and Asa find themselves trapped in a situation very similar to Denji's encounter with the Eternity Devil and find themselves in a never-ending, infinite version of the aquarium, blocked off from the rest of the world.

Aside from their journey through the aquarium and searching for their coveted escape, fans can also look forward to an adorable scene of Denji finally seeing the penguins he had been wanting to visit the moment they got there!

8 Denji's First Hybrid Transformation

Chainsaw Man Denji First Hybrid Transformation

So far, audiences have seen a sneak peek of Denji's transformation into his hybrid form in the recently released trailers, and it goes to say that fans can't wait to see the full end product! Denji's hybrid form is one of the more complex character designs in the series, and some of the details can be lost in the black-and-white art style of the manga.

Finally being able to see a colored version of Denji's chainsaws design, fully in motion, complete with the revving of his chainsaws, will be a dream come true for hardcore fans.

How The Anime Adapted This Scene

Chainsaw Man Anime Denji's Transformation Scene

The very first time Denji transforms he simply emerges from the pile of enemies already in his chainsaw form, it's his fight with the Bat Devil where fans finally witness the gritty transformation process in all its glory.

Seeing each frame of exactly how Denji's chainsaw plunges out of his head truly helps fans understand why Denji complains about the pain every time he pulls his rip cord. Mappa did a fantastic job; from each frame of his bloody transformation, the angles, right down to the rocking soundtrack.

7 Kishibe Vs. Quanxi

Chainsaw Man Kishibe Vs. Quanxi

There are quite a few high-paced, action-packed fight scenes throughout the series, but there is something rather special about Kishibe's hand-to-hand battle with Quanxi. Up until this point, the audience had only really seen small glimpses into Kishibe's combat abilities during his training sessions with Denji and Power, but it was easy to see he was clearly holding back.

This was the point in the series where the audience finally saw Kishibe go all out against a formidable enemy. Being able to see Kishibe and Quanxi's fight finally fully in motion, and carefully choreographed will definitely be one of the highlights of the series.

6 Pochita's Dialogue

Chainsaw Man Pochita Speaking

Aside from full color, motion, and a full soundtrack, a manga can still deliver a fantastic story, just like a fully animated series can. However, one of the most obvious things that is left to the reader's imagination when reading a manga series without an animation is the voice of each character.

So far, the audience has heard a few voices, like Denji, Power, and Makima. Little Pochita however, hasn't been able to have his time in the spotlight just yet. Pochita has a few moments where he gets to speak and fans just can't wait to hear how the little chainsaw devil will sound! Will Pochita have a cutesy high-pitched voice? Or an eerily deep one to reflect his powerful status as a dangerous devil?

How The Anime Adapted This Scene

Chainsaw Man Anime Pochita's Dialogue

It seems as if fans fell in love with little Pochita all over again the second they saw the little pup animated; and again after they heard his adorable little voice!

Pochita's voice was always one of the biggest mysteries of the Chainsaw Man manga and the casting team behind the anime adaptation decided a cutesy voice would fit the cutesy orange pup the most. In both the original Japanese dub as well as the English dub, everyone's favorite devil has an adorable squeaky little voice that seems to be a huge hit with manga fans and those new to the anime as well!

5 The Trip To Hell

Chainsaw Man Hell

The whole scene set in hell is incredible from an artistic point of view (to Denji and friends, it was likely more horrific than artistic!). The Chainsaw Man's rendition of hell is unique and isn't the typical version of hell being dark and fiery like many have seen depicted in other forms of media throughout the years. Hell in the Chainsaw Man universe is depicted as a surrealist vast field littered with cleanly severed body parts, with a massive mosaic of doors in place of a clear, blue sky.

The entire arc that happens in the depths of hells before Makima finally arrives to rescue her team is essentially one big fever dream that will surely be even more terrifying when set in full motion.

4 Himeno And Denji's First Kiss

Chainsaw Man Himeno Pukes On Denji

While Denji's first kiss may have been a bit traumatic to him, audiences can't help but find it even just a little hilarious. The entire drinking scene that plays out in the restaurant will definitely be a segment that fans will be looking forward to finally seeing.

A large chunk of the series is rather heavy and dark, so the scene of everyone finally being able to sit back and relax with a drink and good company is a nice change of pace. However, in the drunken flurry of the night, Himeno decides to get a little flirty with Denji and ultimately soils his dream of having the perfect first kiss.

How The Anime Adapted This Scene

Chainsaw Man Anime Denji & Himeno Kiss

This particular scene was a classic situation that truly demonstrated the divide between manga readers and "anime onlys". Manga readers held their tongue, knowing what horrible event was about to unfold, while those that only kept up with the anime blissfully awaited the fanservice of Denji and Himeno's long-awaited kiss.

While the disgusting scene is played out in full in the original manga panel, the anime decided to spare its viewers by censoring Himeno's vomit completely. While some fans were a bit upset that the full extent of how gross Denji's dilemma was watered down, it was ultimately a wise choice by the animation team!

3 Denji's Full Devil Transformation

Chainsaw Man Denji's Full Devil Transformation

If fans are already getting all hyped up for the little glimpse of Denji's first hybrid transformation, they're sure to lose their minds once they finally get to see Denji's first-ever appearance in his full devil form. Denji only unleashes his full devil form once, toward the end of the series, and it was definitely worth the wait.

This horrifying rendition of Denji is much bigger, donning more chainsaws than usual, and wearing his very own intestines as a scarf. This Denji no longer houses his human consciousness, so aside from his aesthetics, fans will be in for a surprise to hear what this Denji will sound like as well. Will he be reduced to making primal growling sounds, or will fans simply hear the sound of his revving chainsaws?

2 Kobeni's Dance For Her Life

Chainsaw Man Kobeni Dance

Kobeni, aside from her role as comedic relief, also has the honor of being the ultimate personification of the perfect marriage of nervousness and bad luck. While Kobeni (and her beloved car) had already suffered a great deal at this point in the story and had already gone off to take up a new job away from the work with devils, it seemed as if her previous job as a Public Devil Safety Hunter wasn't done with her quite yet.

In a hilarious (yet equally disturbing) scene when Denji had fully transformed into his devil form, he seeks out Kobeni to finally live out his dreams; and that meant eating some good food and going on a fun date with a cute girl.

Unfortunately for Kobeni, that meant her, and she was forced to play a dance game at an arcade while Denji patiently sat close by to watch. It may not be Kobeni's finest hour but to fans, this scene will be one of the series' biggest highlights.

1 Denji Vs. Makima

Chainsaw Man Denji Vs. Makima

Denji's big fight against Makima in Chainsaw Man is by far one of the most intense battles throughout the entirety of the series. This entire fight scene is action-packed and terrifying as it's the first time the audience finally sees Makima's true capabilities in battle after her long escapade feigning her status as a regular human being.

Makima is one of the most powerful devils seen in the series so far, so it's only natural that her final face-off with protagonist Denji would be something fans just cannot wait to finally see in color and in action.
