Between all the fun shenanigans and immature jokes, the Chainsaw Man series can get surprisingly dark at times. When in the business of hunting down dangerous devils, it's to be expected that a few casualties may happen along the way. Luckily, fans can count on Power to lighten the mood.
Power may be a bit abrasive at first, but deep down, she has a kind heart. Although Power is constantly trying to appear smarter, stronger, or superior to those around her, she is often caught in her bluff and ends up having the opposite effect. 8 Happy Cat Lady
The famous "crazy cat lady" stereotype has been around for a long time, regardless of how mean-spirited or untrue it is. Cats have a terrible reputation for being cold, uncaring companions, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. At the end of the day, there's nothing wrong with rejecting the idea of marriage or children in favor of a quiet life with feline companions by one's side.
Power would undoubtedly be one of the many women out there that wouldn't mind a life surrounded by cats without another human being in sight. Power is strong and independent, and although she still loves her friends Denji and Aki, Meowy is the only one she really needs in her life.
7 The Perfect Equilibrium
Power is a rather picky eater and tends to lean towards things like junk food or meaty dishes (if she's not feasting on animals or humans). However, one thing she can't seem to grow to like are vegetables. Luckily for her, Denji is a good boy and knows to finish his veggies and always cleans his plate.
Denji had a rough upbringing, so no matter what kind of food it is, he won't turn it down if it's for free. Aki has the unenviable task of playing the role of head chef at home, while Denji and Power sit back and eat any food that's put on the table. Instead of wasting perfectly good food, Denji is always there to clean up any of Power's green leftovers, making for the perfect dynamic.
6 Eye On The Prize
Just about any normal person would be in a bit of a panic when trapped on an infinite floor of a hotel that seemingly has no end. Of course, Aki and the others were a bit at a loss, going a bit loopy from all the failed escape attempts, but Power and Denji aren't regular old human beings anymore.
While the others panic and Denji chooses to nap, Power's only real concern is killing Denji in order to achieve her Nobel Prize. Power constantly claims to be incredibly intelligent, so it's only natural she prioritizes gathering evidence for her academic achievements rather than the well-being of everyone else around her.
5 Big Brain, Clogged Toilet
This meme is definitely a piping-hot take on Power's very questionable lifestyle. Denji, in comparison to Power, still maintains a great deal of his humanity and typical human habits, like wanting to shower or using a toilet correctly. While this may seem like the bare minimum for many and should be an instinct rather than a habit, Power doesn't seem to agree with this status quo.
Poor Aki already had his hands full with babysitting Denji, but the second Power moved in, both Denji and Aki's lives got a bit messier (and smellier). Power has stated before that she doesn't enjoy bathing, nor does she bother flushing the toilet after using it. While this meme paints Power as the big brain one in the equation, even Power's biggest fans may not agree!
4 Violence Is Her First Love
Power often criticizes humans and their habits, instincts, desires, and fears, looking down on them as an inferior species. She often teases Denji about his girl-crazy attitude and takes every chance she gets to make fun of his foolishly human desire for romance and intimacy. While Denji is off chasing skirts, Power only lusts for the blood of her enemies (she is the blood fiend, after all).
However, in the end, it seems the joke's on Power as it's implied that Power had romantic feelings for Denji that he sadly did not return. Luckily, it still seems as if Power is content with a platonic relationship with Denji instead.
3 Rise And Grind
Everyone has their own way of greeting each morning, and according to this meme, it seems Aki's the only "normal" one out of the Chainsaw Man trio. Denji, being his goofy self, is always going all out and greets the morning in the most extravagant way he can muster. Ever since moving in with Aki, he has a comfy bed to sleep in and all the yummy food he wants, so of course he's excited to wake up every morning!
Meanwhile, Power is out there, waking up with two fists in the air every morning, ready to rise and grind. It's a perfectly fitting meme for the trio, as it especially captures the fiery, go-getter energy Power has when facing each day and its trials and tribulations.
2 Looks Aren't Always Deceiving
It's no question that Himeno and Makima are incredibly intelligent, but Denji and Power's levels of competence are constantly being questioned by those around them (rightfully so). Denji at the very least tries to hide his lack of intellectual competence, trying to fool his enemies (and his crushes) into thinking they can't afford to underestimate him.
Power, on the other hand, is as easy to read as an open book. Power ironically, in her attempt to seem smarter than she actually is, demonstrates exactly how lacking she is in the brains department. Perhaps next time she brags about how high her IQ is, she'll research what a believable answer would be.
1 Both Are Good!
Any Darling In The Franxx fans may feel like Power's character design is a little familiar at first glance. From the pink hair right down to the red horns, Power and Zero Two could pass off as twins.
While "best girl" wars are rather common in the anime community, true fans know that both Power and Zero Two are great characters. There's no reason for two great female deuteragonists to be pitted against one another instead of teaming up to make a powerful duo!
