The Chainsaw Man anime truly brings the cast to life and being able to see everyone's favorites in full motion, color, and fully voiced and fans can't help but count down the days they finally get to get a glimpse of their favorite characters that get introduced a bit later into the series. Here are some of the most anticipated characters the Chainsaw Man fandom can't wait to see animated.

Disclaimer: Major spoilers ahead!

7 Reze

Chainsaw Man - Reze Human Form Side By Side With Her Devil Form

So far, fans have been given a tiny sneak peek of Lady Reze, a.k.a, Bomb Girl, in the form of a small glimpse of her animated design (excluding her face) and a simple voice line. However, there's so much more to Reze that fans are itching to see in motion!

Reze first appears as a simple girl that finds herself infatuated with Denji but of course, just as poor Denji's luck would have it, it was all a lie. Reze ended up being a dangerous hybrid spy sent from the Soviet Union to retrieve the infamous Chainsaw Man's heart. Not only are fans aching to see Reze in her adorable human form, but also her terrifying bomb hybrid form as well.

6 Quanxi

Chainsaw Man Quanxi And Hybrid Crossbow Devil Form

Quanxi is a feared and respected devil hunter from China, being so prolific, she eventually earned herself the title of "The First Devil Hunter". Much like the other devil hunters in the series, Quanxi is also sent to Japan in order to retrieve the infamous Chainsaw Man's heart.

Being a devil hunter is a dangerous job, so it's necessary for hunters to have some kind of contract or upper hand when fighting rogue devils, and in Quanxi's case, she has the power of the Crossbow Devil on her side. Quanxi is a hybrid just like Denji and fans will be in for a treat when her devil form is finally seen in motion.

5 Asa Mitaka

Chainsaw Man Asa Mitaka

Asa Mitaka makes her first appearance quite far into the manga, well after Denji's arc with Makima. Asa Mitaka is currently the new protagonist of the Chainsaw Man manga, pushing Denji aside, and reducing him to a secondary character in his own manga!

Asa begins her journey as a normal schoolgirl that doesn't exactly get along well with others and has a hard time making friends in her class. However, Asa's life soon turns around (for the worse) and she finds herself in a dangerous encounter with a devil that leaves her corpse up for grabs. In a split second, Asa finds herself the host of the feared War Devil (named Yoru), and although she is now given another shot at life now as a fiend, poor Asa is forced to do Yoru's bidding at all times.

4 Yuko

Chainsaw Man Yuko And Hybrid Form

Yuko is a student at Fourth East High School alongside Denji and Asa. She is an enthusiastic member of the Devil Hunter Club and took it upon herself to fill the role of the social recluse Asa's best friend. Yuko begins her journey as a simple side character that would likely end up as collateral in the end. However, after a brash decision, Yuko eventually decides to take Asa's bullying issues into her own hands and makes a contract with the Justice Devil.

Not only are fans looking forward to seeing the cheery Yuko in action, but they also have her terrifying devil form as well!

3 Santa Claus

Chainsaw Man Santa Claus

The elusive Santa Claus is one of the most mysterious antagonists in the series as Santa Claus isn't exactly one single person/entity. Santa Claus is described as a "global hive mind" of doll assassins that look just like regular, everyday human beings. Through the International Assassins Arc, there are three beings in total that are involved with Santa Claus: the dark-haired woman named "Master", an older male devil hunter in Germany, and a younger man named Tolka.

The dark-haired woman, Master, is the main body of Santa Claus and has a contract with the Doll Devil that allows her to possess or control these different bodies. However, it is after Master consumes a piece of the Darkness Devil's flesh, she gains incredible new powers along with mutating into a terrifying new devil form that will surely look even more horrific in fluid motion!

2 Haruka Iseumi

Chainsaw Man Haruka Iseumi

Haruka Iseumi quickly made a name for himself in the Chainsaw Man fandom as the shameless impostor. Haruka is a student alongside Denji at Fourth East High School and is the president of the Devil Hunter Club.

As if his "know it all" attitude and fanboy ways weren't enough for fans to have their doubts about Haruka, he also had to be a showoff as well! Haruka is known in the fandom as the wannabe Chainsaw Man as he intentionally led Asa to believe he was the real Chainsaw Man after flaunting his fake rip cord which he later revealed to be a simple implant. Who knew that people in the Chainsaw Man world idolized Denji so much they turned to plastic surgery to feel closer to him?

1 Hirofumi Yoshida

Chainsaw Man Hirofumi Yoshida

Hirofumi Yoshida first makes an appearance during the International Assassins Arc; and while he does disappear for a bit after that, he eventually makes a return and does his best to befriend Denji in his new school life. Yoshida is mysterious, working for an unknown organization, tasked with keeping Denji (and his identity as the Chainsaw Man) safe.

While Yoshida is working under the guise of a simple high school student alongside his new pal Denji, he's already shown off his fighting abilities and his contract with the Octopus Devil. The moment fangirls get a glimpse of pretty boy Yoshida fully animated, Denji might feel a little jealous (or forgotten)!

Bonus: Unnamed Student

Chainsaw Man Unnamed Male Student Male Kobeni

This mysterious student grabbed many readers' attention the moment he showed up in the manga. Despite being such an unimportant side character (so much so that he doesn't even currently have a name), fans began talking about him almost immediately after Denji's aquarium date with Asa.

Although the unnamed student was introduced as a completely new character, fans couldn't help but feel like he gave off a very familiar vibe. Due to his panicky attitude and constant crying fits (despite only being in the manga for a few chapters), the fandom has lovingly named this student the "Male Kobeni" or "Kobeni's Brother".
