Captain America: New World Order filming continues in Atlanta, Georgia, with WWE star Seth Rollins on set. New set photos and a video give fans a glimpse at Rollins' character, whose identity remains unknown.

Captain America: New World Order is Anthony Mackie's first feature film as the titular hero after Sam Wilson struggled to accept the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Plot details remain a mystery, but Captain America: New World Order will seemingly see Sam Wilson come into conflict with Tim Blake Nelson's The Leader and potentially Harrison Ford's President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross.

Captain America: New World Order features several more familiar faces, including Liv Tyler's return as Betty Ross for the first time since 2008's The Incredible Hulk. However, Rollins' role in Captain America 4 was seemingly unknown to most until set photos and a video by Christopher Oquendo Photographer surfaced online. In the photos and video, Rollins is seen wearing a seemingly dark green outfit and standing next to another performer dressed in a similar costume. In the video, Rollins is seen reaching out his fist to a man dressed in civilian clothing, who reaches out his hand in return. Both men stand almost perfectly still until they pull their hands away and look up to the sky, prompting Rollin's similarly-dressed scene partner to run after something as Rollins slowly follows.

Captain America: New World is not Rollins' first acting credit. The professional wrestler has appeared in a handful of films, starting with the fourth film in the Sharknado franchise. However, Captain America: New World Order is his most high-profile project. According to WRKD Wrestling, Rollins' recent WWE Raw segment had to be pre-taped so he could work on Captain America 4. While people backstage are reportedly happy for Rollins, WRKD alleges there is "hesitancy" to see him win the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship if he plans to continue acting.

A Captain America: New World Order title change is rumored to be coming, but that is not expected to delay the film. So, fans can look forward to seeing Rollins in the MCU next summer and possibly learning who he plays beforehand. Until then, fans can speculate whether Rollins is a friend or foe of Mackie's Captain America.

Captain America: New World Order is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.
