Capcom has confirmed the exact date and time for NEXT Summer 2024, where it will showcase three upcoming games: Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, and Resident Evil 7 for iOS and Mac. Every year, Capcom hosts a showcase event to share information regarding its upcoming titles.

Established in 1979, Capcom is known for producing multi-million dollar franchises, such as Ace Attorney, Street Fighter, and Marvel vs. Capcom. Meanwhile, the popular survival horror series Resident Evil continues to smash records almost 30 years after its conception. Last year, Capcom unveiled a gameplay trailer for Dragon's Dogma 2, announced the indefinite delay of Pragmata, confirmed the arrival of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and also shared a trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, which Capcom will address in more detail during this year's showcase.

Capcom NEXT Summer 2024 is scheduled to start on July 1, 2024, at 3pm PT / 6pm ET. It has also been confirmed via Capcom's official website that the show will run for approximately 25 minutes, but will not include any updates on Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom has also informed viewers that the date and time of the event may change suddenly and without notice. Capcom NEXT Showcase Date and Time

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess launches on July 19, while the mobile version of Resident Evil 7 goes live on July 2. There has been no word on when the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be available, so one can only assume that Capcom NEXT Summer 2024 will reveal an official release date for the remaster of the Xbox 360 classic. As for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and Resident Evil 7, it makes the most sense for Capcom to utilize the showcase as a means to share gameplay footage in anticipation of the July releases. The Resident Evil 7 port also encourages the use of iPhone game controllers for those who prefer a portable console experience.

Capcom has yet to put a price tag on the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster and Resident Evil 7, as both are not yet available in their respective stores. Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will be available on Xbox Game Pass for July 2024 or, alternatively, it can be pre-purchased on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Steam for $49.99.
