Capcom has opened a quick online end of the year survey in order to gain feedback from players. Being one of the largest companies in the ever-expanding world of video games, Capcom is looking for consumer response in order to get a better sense of what its customers look for in the game purchasing experience.

For many years Capcom has been mastering a multitude of video game genres, growing with each new generation of gamers that come along. With some of the biggest titles in the gaming world, the development and publishing company has delivered a great variety of different games to its customers. In order to gain a better understanding of where the interests of its consumers lie, Capcom has taken to posting a short online survey for fans of the company to fill out.

The survey has been posted to the official Capcom Twitter account and will be live until January 5, 2023, so there is plenty of time to answer the company's questions. The survey has the usual basic questions like asking country of origin, age, and gender, but later gets more in depth with questions pertaining to where players prefer to purchase their games and which future Capcom titles are gamers most excited for in the future, like the upcoming Street Fighter 6.

One curious portion of the survey, though, involves the question asking which consoles consumers prefer to purchase games on. Surprisingly, there is no option to choose Xbox consoles. The only indication for Xbox consoles is an "Other" option box. So for gamers who prefer to purchase games via the Microsoft store, there may be some confusion when first filling out the survey. However, despite the choice to not include Xbox into that portion of the questionnaire, the completion of the survey will reward volunteers with a special Capcom-themed wallpaper that comes in various dimensions for different screen sizes, with an Android and iPhone wallpaper option available as well for those who take the survey via phone. The free wallpaper features Capcom's most iconic characters, with Resident Evil 4's Leon front and center.

Minus the lack of an Xbox option when asking for game purchasing preferences, the survey is very straightforward and only took about one to two minutes to complete. The survey is clearly trying to figure out which of Capcom's upcoming games are most anticipated for the new year. Even if the survey itself isn't the most interesting, the free wallpaper received after completing all the questions is worth the time.
