There have been many iconic villain roles revealed from not only men but also women who have overpowered or intimidated the player during their gaming sessions. These powerful women have shown up in many of the most popular games created by Capcom and therefore have been known as the most iconic female villains in Capcom gaming history.

10 Devilotte – Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness

Devilotte may be seen as quite the spoiled brat by players, as her attempts to persuade the strongest people to join the Deathsatan empire that usually ends up with her trying to take them by force. This princess may look adorable and harmless, but she is ruthless, especially when assisted by her two faithful lackeys.

This character that is modeled after Alice in Wonderland becomes even more terrifying when piloting her mech, which turns her from what may appear as a defenseless girl to a horrifying octopus character that players may struggle to defeat.

9 Shannon – God Hand

In the 3D beat 'em up title God Hand, players must defeat a variety of bosses across levels to stop them from bringing back a demonic entity called Angra. An interesting aspect of this title is the combination of Japanese and western comedy, meaning many of the bosses players face are over-dramatic stereotypes.

Shannon is in all ways the typical succubus-like character hunting for pleasure no matter what pain is caused along the way. She is obsessed with the main character Gene and hopes to keep him for herself. Her attacks are by far the best as she throws large love hearts at the player as well as turning them into a vulnerable Chihuahua that she can beat on.

8 Daniella – Haunting Ground

Haunting Ground is not only a chilling experience but Daniella single handily makes exploring this horror game even more terrifying. Her cold expression and robot-like movements reveal the truth behind this woman as she isn't really human but as the game progresses, Daniella reveals her true self.

Although physically beautiful, Daniella hates her own appearance and will scream at her reflection while chasing the main protagonist Fiona due to being jealous of her. Some players may briefly feel sorry for her, though it's difficult to remain this way when she is one of the fastest enemies in the game.

7 Juli – Street Fighter Alpha 3

Although classed as villains in the game, Juli and her partner Juni have quite a sad story that leads to them becoming opponents the player can fight. They were actually kidnapped and brainwashed by M. Bison to become a part of his elite guards called The Dolls.

Out of all the Dolls, Juli is the second oldest as well as the most rational, though she has been shown to be ruthless. Her voice can be rather ominous revealing her brainwashed state as many players would describe her and the other Dolls as speaking like robots.

6 Myria – Breath Of Fire

Also known as Tyr or Maria in some English versions of the game, Myria may look like a young girl, but she is actually a goddess of Chaos that should remain trapped for all eternity. She appears in one form or another in all three games in the Breath of Fire franchise, though many will remember defeating her in the first RPG.

After successfully being released she becomes a chaotic entity hoping to start new wars and destruction. Myria herself doesn't look that horrifying but if players unlock all the dragon spells, the final boss fight against her will reveal her true snake-like form.

5 Xi Wang Mu – Strider

As the fourth and final member of the Four Winds, Xi Wang Mu is the matriarchal figure and teacher of the three other sisters of the Four Winds, teaching each of them techniques of her own fighting style.

Her actual backstory is shrouded in mystery, meaning not many players know who she really is other than how incredibly skilled the woman who calls herself 'the spear of the new god' is. This is due to her knowing a wide range of martial arts, which she can freely switch between during the combat in Strider.

4 Hilde Schmittendorf – Dead Rising 3

Hilde is one of the psychopaths players will encounter while surviving zombies. Dead Rising 3 reminds players that the most terrifying foes in the game aren't the zombies they face but instead the people that have been left to run free across Los Perdidos.

Players don't meet Hilde in person until Chapter 3 of the game where they witness her coldly kill a man and his injured wife, showing that although tasked with cleaning up the island she plans on keeping nobody alive. During her boss fight, she doesn't go easy on the sexual puns, though her real lust is for violence.

3 Alexia Ashford – Resident Evil Code: Veronica

Artificially created by Edward Ashford, the co-founder of Umbrella to be his granddaughter, Alexia Ashford may appear like a rich woman, in her fine gown and large white gloves but underneath this human disguise is a monster as brutal as Mr. X himself.

While attempting to defeat her in Resident Evil Code: Veronica, players will have a hard time as she slowly becomes indestructible to all firearms apart from the Linear Launcher. Furthermore, being grabbed by her is instant death as her blood kills the player instantly. She is not an easy foe to deal with.

2 Dahlia Hawthorne – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

Masquerading as an innocent lady, Dahlia with her pale pink outfit and dainty parasol looks as if she couldn't even commit a crime in her life. However, the crimes she is found to have committed reveal a woman that uses her innocent appearance to manipulate others.

Using this manipulation she manages to kill many while appearing innocent, though she is finally found out. Once executed, it doesn't stop there as her spirit goes on to possess others into killing, allowing her the freedom to continue to pursue her revenge.

1 Lady Dimitrescu – Resident Evil: Village

Becoming one of the most iconic women villains in recent gaming history, Lady Dimitrescu took players by surprise when meeting her for the first time in Resident Evil: Village. This vampire-like woman along with her three daughters lives within their castle home which Ethan Winters must enter to find a part of his daughter.

She is an incredibly brutal woman to challenge, cutting the hand off Ethan in one moment of the game. If she wasn't tall enough already measuring around nine feet tall she can become even bigger as she transforms into a horrific dragon for her final boss battle against Ethan.
