The forthcoming anime adaptation of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill recently released the 2nd Official trailer. Additional cast members were also revealed along with the trailer. It was previously revealed that the anime series will premiere on Tokyo TV and other channels on January 10, 2023, under Studio MAPPA.Muse Asia announced last October 2022 that they have obtained the license for the anime adaptation of Ren Eguchi and illustrator Masa's Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill. It was also revealed previously that Yuma Uchida will play the lead role of Mukuoda Tsuyoshi, Satoshi Hino as Fel, and Hino Kino as Sui. The director behind anime RE-MAIN and Kakegurui season 2, Kiyoshi Matsuda, will be directing the anime at Studio MAPPA. Michiko Yokote will be overseeing the scripts for the series and Nao ÅŒtsu is in charge of the character designs for animation. The crew also includes Hisako Akagi as Art Director, Chikako Kamata as Color Key, Kumiko Taniguchi on Special Effects and Saho Sawada as Director of Photography.Ren Eguchi and illustrator Masa finally unveiled the second trailer for the light novel series. The trailer revealed more cast members as well as the theme song that will be used for the anime adaptation. The new addition to the cast members are Yo Taichi as the energetic goddess of fire Agni, Yuko Kaida as the elegant goddess of earth Kishar, and Saho Shirasu as the adorable goddess of water Rusalka.
The opening theme song of the anime series is titled Exquisite Spoon or Zeitaku na Saji performed by the group Van de Shop. The series adaptation will start streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV in Japan on January 10 at 11:45 p.m. The anime will then air on TV Tokyo and other channels on the same day at a later time at midnight. Crunchyroll will also be streaming the anime at the same time as it airs in Japan.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill will take the viewers for the adventure of a lifetime. The anime will center on Mukuoda Tsuyoshi's ordinary life in Japan, his life is nothing special so when he had the opportunity to add some spice into his life by entering the world of swordplay and sorcery, he readily set foot in a completely different world. Mukuoda does not possess any skills when he was summoned and only has the unique skill of cooking. It would be exciting to see Mukuoda incorporating his ridiculously tasty modern cooking to the fantasy world.
