Call of Duty Zombies fans have always been a passionate bunch, with the community not afraid to make requests and say what it wants. One such request is for Zombies Chronicles 2, with a Call of Duty Zombies developer recently responding to the comments.

Zombies Chronicles 2 is one of the most consistently demanded things amongst Zombies fans, and it is not hard to understand why. The original Zombies Chronicles helped make Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 into what many consider to be the best Zombies experience ever made, as classics like Origins and Ascension were fully remade in the game’s engine. Now, players want to see a sequel to Zombies Chronicles added to one of the recent games, bringing back more classic maps from the mode’s past.

The push for the hypothetical expansion became even more noticeable after insider Tom Henderson reported that Zombies Chronicles 2 was in development before the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Further, he believes the content is finished and ready to go, with Treyarch simply waiting for the right time to release it. However, lead game designer Kevin Drew makes it seem like that is not the case through a recent Tweet, though the same post shows that he does want to see the expansion become a reality one day.

Drew tells Call of Duty Zombies fans to keep requesting Zombies Chronicles 2, as the fan demands could ultimately sway Activision into giving the project the necessary time and resources. However, he does clarify that fans should not be making the demands in the replies of every single Tweet he posts, as there is an appropriate time and place to share such hopes. With Drew also needing to see the many complaints about Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies constantly, it is easy to imagine social media becoming a toxic place for him as of late.

While Drew has joked about hoping someone else would make Zombies Chronicles 2 just so he could stop seeing all the requests, it is nice to see that the developer still has interest in the DLC. While some fans have gotten out of hand, most comments do come from a place of love. Zombies fans want the chance to play a version of TranZit that captures Treyarch’s original villain, with more visually impressive versions of Die Rise and Buried also having potential. For now, it still remains to be seen if the expansion will ever happen.

While Drew’s comments make it clear that players should be more considerate when filling up his personal feed with demands, fans should still make their voices heard on the official accounts for Treyarch and Activision. Based on the developer’s post, Call of Duty players speaking out gives Zombies Chronicles 2 a chance to finally become a reality.
