Highlights

  • Call of Duty: Warzone's latest update has nerfed the RAM-9 and HRM-9 SMGs, made adjustments to the Gulag, and more.
  • Modern Warfare 3 also received an update that tweaks Juggernauts, adds bug fixes and Soulrender changes, and improvements to the Aegis Imperialis Riot Shield blueprint.
  • Warzone Mobile's launch event later this week will offer rewards, and players who have already purchased the new Call of Duty battle pass will also receive the pass in the mobile game.

A March 19 Call of Duty: Warzone update has brought nerfs to two SMGs, the RAM-9 and HRM-9. The new update also made some changes to Call of Duty: Warzone's Gulag and more.

The recent patch comes as Warzone Mobile's March 21 release date continues to draw nearer. Recently, Activision detailed Warzone Mobile's Operation: Day Zero launch event, which allows players to earn exclusive rewards by completing challenges. However, the event's name might confuse some players, as it actually begins the day after Warzone Mobile's release. Additionally, players who have already purchased the newest Call of Duty battle pass will automatically unlock the same pass in Warzone Mobile, which offers additional rewards that can only be unlocked in the mobile game.

How to Get Free Golden Phantom Ghost Skin in MW3 & Warzone Mobile

Here's how to get the new Ghost Skin, Golden Phantom, in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone mobile.

As for standard Warzone, the game's newest update adjusted the RAM-9 by decreasing its near-mid damage from 27 to 24 and its mid damage from 24 to 22. The HRM-9's nerf saw its max damage range decrease from 12.95 meters to 11.30 meters. The changes to the two weapons aren't massive, but should help balance their abilities in gunfights that aren't close range. Additionally, the recent patch disabled the Night Vision Gulag event, which happened randomly on rare occasions, and removed and replaced all laser attachments in Gulag loadouts. The new Soulrender melee weapon also saw a slight improvement by no longer causing a delay after swapping to the weapon or throwing equipment while using it.

The only other inclusions in the Warzone update are two bug fixes, which fix a final elimination killcam issue and a glitch on Fortune Keep's Research Vessel POI that caused unmanned vehicles to eliminate players. As for fans of Modern Warfare 3, that game also received a new update.

A March 19 patch simultaneously released for Sledgehammer's game made some changes to the new limited-time Juggermosh mode, which was introduced with last week's Modern Warfare 3 update. Juggernauts in the mode are no longer immune to stun grenades, flash grenades, and shock sticks, and entering water no longer causes weapons to stop functioning. The update also introduced an assortment of bug fixes and made the same Soulrender change seen in the Warzone update.

Additionally, Modern Warfare 3's patch changed the Aegis Imperialis Riot Shield blueprint by improving visibility when looking through its glass pane. The Riot Shield blueprint is the first of its kind and is part of one of Modern Warfare 3's newest premium bundles. However, the blueprint's Warhammer 40K: Space Marine bundle comes at a steep price of 3000 COD Points.
