Activision has unveiled a wealth of new content and updates for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4, with significant changes to bunkers and the gulag taking center stage. Players can expect a variety of new experiences and enhancements within the Call of Duty: Warzone battlefield.

Call of Duty: Warzone is an updated version of the original popular free-to-play battle royale game. Released in November 2022, it features enhanced graphics and new gameplay mechanics. Additionally, Call of Duty: Warzone features a fresh map called Al Mazrah, set in a fictional Middle Eastern region. The game continues the franchise's signature fast-paced, tactical combat and introduces new modes, weapons, and operators.

A major highlight of Season 4 is the overhaul of the Call of Duty: Warzone bunkers on Urzikstan. Players who manage to obtain keycard access will find expanded interiors, high-level loot, and crucial intel regarding undisclosed elements of the storyline. Additionally, secondary bunker exit hatches will offer multiple escape routes, adding a strategic layer to bunker engagements. However, not all bunkers are accessible right away, requiring players to investigate and navigate the dangers carefully to unlock their secrets.

The Warzone Urzikstan gulag is also undergoing significant changes with the introduction of new silo variants. These updates are set to alter the dynamics of the 1v1 duels for redeployment. Players can expect to be randomly dropped into one of four different gulag setups, each offering unique obstacles and strategies. These setups include stacked equipment and L-shaped plywood walls with an S-shaped central wall over a circular floor grate, a three-panel curved wall, stacked equipment against two walled sections, curved inner walls above a circular floor grate, and more. Each layout is designed to provide varied combat scenarios, requiring players to adapt their strategies for each unique environment.

In addition to these major updates, Season 4 introduces several other notable features. The returning mode, Buy Back Royale Solos, disables the gulag in favor of a system where players can redeploy automatically if they have enough cash, encouraging aggressive and high-risk strategies. New public events, such as the Runaway Train event, promise unique and chaotic endgame scenarios, where players must battle atop or around a runaway train. Moreover, rewards have been expanded to include new daily and weekly challenges, along with a third set of rewards tailored specifically for Warzone players. These challenges offer a variety of rewards for looting, completing contracts, interacting with enemy players, and achieving specific goals in different game modes.

Call of Duty: Warzone continues to evolve with Season 4, offering players new ways to engage with the game. From the revamped bunkers and gulag to the introduction of new modes and features, this season promises to keep the gameplay dynamic.
