The main introduction from this new season is the launch of the Urzikstan map, bringing a completely fresh core location for fans to explore in the battle royale title.

The main map of Call of Duty: Warzone is always a huge deal, with the unique points of interest that new maps bring completely changing the core experience of the game. Urzikstan has a lot of unique elements that stand out from past Warzone maps, with its many POIs offering different levels of risk versus reward for those who brave them. Early-game looting is massively important in any battle royale release, and there are some key locations that fans should prioritize to get good loot quickly and maximize their chances of survival.

While these locations are valuable, their loot effectiveness still depends on player distribution and loot RNG.

The Best Places to Loot in Warzone Season 1's Urzikstan

  • Orlov Military Base
  • Levin Resort
  • Zaravan City
  • Old Town
  • Hadiqa Farms

One of the best places to land in Warzone's Urzikstan map is the Orlov Military Base POI. As might be expected, the military installment is packed with warehouses and imposing buildings that are ripe with loot and ammunition stockpiles, with huge stretches of land breaking up the POI's buildings and allowing for easier identification of enemy players. Nestled in the north-east corner of the map, Orlov Military Base is fairly isolated for how large it is, meaning players who get past the first wave of players will have a huge amount of loot to scour through.

Levin Resort is another fantastic drop option for Urzikstan, sharing the same border isolation as Orlov Military Base but this time at the north-west of the map. The expansive buildings of Levin resort offer a lot of layers that make it a defensible POI for players who successfully infiltrate it, meaning looting can occur without huge danger from the opposition. Its location in a fairly remote portion of the map makes it a quiet landing on average, meaning smart players can take advantage of its chests and ground loot.

Zaravan City is one of the most obvious choices for good loot in Warzone Season One, being the centerpiece location of the Urzikstan map. As the largest POI in the new map, Zaravan City is already being considered as the go-to hot drop for Warzone, being a densely packed urban environment with tons of buildings brimming with loot. Of course, players who land here will have to deal with a lot of hostile engagements, but the chaos of Zaravan City can be perfect for quick and efficient looting.

Urkizkstan's More Remote POIs Still Hold a Lot of Value

For players wanting to drop at a slightly less explosive location, Old Town is a fantastic middle ground. Old Town shares the same dense buildings as Zaravan City, with its more compact structure making it an even more confusing place to navigate in the heat of battle. An Old Town drop lacks the massive player counts of Zaravan at the cost of a smaller loot pool, but it can still be fruitful for players who can scavenge and quickly travel to other nearby locations.

Finally, Hadiqa Farms is another great option for Urzikstan loot, being one of the most remote and unpopular drop locations in Warzone's new season. The loot potential of Hadiqa Farms lies in its obscurity, with its spaced-apart buildings making it very obvious where other players are. Players can easily find themselves essentially alone at Hadiqa Farms, taking the POI's fairly small loot pool entirely for themselves. Urzikstan boasts a wide range of locations that hold a lot of loot, but some clearly stand out due to their complex buildings and varying levels of enemy encounters.
