Alongside this, new locales opened up across Call of Duty: Warzone's Verdansk offering cinematic opportunities to ambitious players.
In the movie Die Hard, Nakatomi Plaza is the core location that the plot revolves around. This core building is now prominently featured in the Verdansk 1980's downtown area, and many Call of Duty: Warzone fans are exploring its many floors. While this is only one of the newer locales, it is the most iconic that fans have found thus far.
The Call of Duty: Warzone Die Hard building is located Downtown, just south of the central bank. The plaza consists of five playable floors with a roof, and the entire building has been heavily inspired by the Die Hard franchise. Players can find optional missions on the roof that involve C4, interrupting arms deals, and more. For more adventurous players, it is possible to get inside the vault and claim a large chunk of cash for spending later in the round. It is not easy to make it within the vault, but the reward is well worth a team's effort.
This replaced the broadcast building in the city, and the area around the plaza has been cleared slightly. A player's best bet to enter the building is from the air during the initial drop; otherwise, they will have to risk a frontal assault. Call of Duty: Warzone has always offered varying tactics and entry points to different locations, and this building presents a new tactical challenge.
The integration of popular movies into Call of Duty: Warzone has so far been well received. Fans are already inventing challenges, creating themed loadouts, and preparing to crash in as their favorite action heroes. While Rambo and John McClane have been officially added, many fans hope other 80s icons may be on the horizon.
Rumors suggest the Terminator may be making an appearance in the game. Fans are hopeful of future crossovers in Call of Duty: Warzone, but for the moment only Rambo and McClane are present. There are bundles available in the in-game shop that can aid players in recreating famous moments from Die Hard with the new Nakatomi plaza location.
