Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will finally launch on March 21 for Android and iOS mobile devices. The Call of Duty franchise has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success with its mobile efforts, as Call of Duty: Mobile has proven to be an incredibly popular destination for fans of the series. While Call of Duty: Mobile has offered its own battle royale modes, soon fans will get a mobile CoD fully dedicated to BR.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was first announced in September 2022, so fans have been waiting for the game to launch for quite some time. Those that have had the opportunity to play it early have helped build hype for its release, as Warzone Mobile gameplay footage has looked surprisingly good, even on par with what the console games offer. Time will tell just how well Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile stacks up compared to its console counterparts, but the wait to find out is nearly at an end.

Along with announcing the March 21, 2024 release date for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Activision confirmed some other exciting details about the game. Players will be able to share progression across Warzone Mobile and the console versions of Warzone, use a controller, fight it out on the returning Verdansk map with up to 120 players, and experience the Resurgence game mode on Rebirth Island with 48 players supported.

The return of Verdansk is the main draw of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, but the game also offers traditional CoD multiplayer for those that want a quick match. It's been confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will support modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Search & Destroy, including Hardcore variants, on fan-favorite maps like Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard.

Any Call of Duty fans excited about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile should note that pre-registering will get them some extra goodies that they can use at launch. These rewards include the Condemned Operator skin for Ghost, the M4 Archfiend and X12 Prince of Hell Weapon Blueprints, the Foe's Flame Vinyl, and the Dark Familiar Emblem. Over 50 million players have already pre-registered for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, so hype is clearly high for the new game.

Of course, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile won't be the only 2024 release for the Call of Duty franchise. Call of Duty 2024 is being developed by Treyarch and is expected to have a Gulf War setting. More specific details on Call of Duty 2024 will come to light at a later date.
