For those looking to claim free lucrative cosmetics and blueprints, here’s how to pre-register for Warzone Mobile and get rewarded.

The Warzone Mobile team has revealed the details of the three main ways to control the game. These options are pure touchscreen controls, a phone and Backbone One controller, and a Bluetooth-enabled controller. As long as one has confirmed that their mobile device meets the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile requirements, all three options will be possible, depending on their preferences and other available equipment.

Three Options for Playing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile

Pure touchscreen controls, which Activision refers to as "playing on glass,'" simply requires the mobile device itself and involves moving with the left thumb and looking and performing other actions with the right. Notably, this option specifically enables automatically firing at any enemy that enters one's crosshairs. The Backbone One control option allows gamers with a Backbone One device to play in a more traditional fashion. Originally released for iOS back in 2020, the Backbone One got an Android version last year, meaning all Warzone Mobile players will have the option to utilize this device. Finally, those with a console or PC controller that connects through Bluetooth will be able to set up their phone and simply play the old-fashioned way.

Activision lays out all the details for setting up and enabling each option and provides much more information on how the touchscreen method will work. This option, by far, appears to be the most complicated and will involve the greatest learning curve. Still, Activision is emphasizing that it will still work well for those that get used to it and will be best for those that don't want to carry any extra gear around.

Warzone Mobile's graphics look surprisingly good and, now, Activision is making the case that it will play surprisingly smoothly as well. Anyone looking forward to the game will want to check out the details and start planning for how they'll want to play.
