The Call of Duty: Warzone community was extremely excited when a new map had been announced. After over a year of battling in Verdansk, the community was ready for some new drop locations for a more varied game experience. As fans explored the new Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth Island, they quickly found a new glitch that is causing problems for the game's community.

Call of Duty: Warzone has several known issues ranging from meta concerns to generalized bugs. While most problems are discovered accidentally, some fans choose to exploit these bugs for an advantage on the battlefield. Similar to when Call of Duty: Warzone opened up Stadium, a new invisible wall glitch has manifested on the shores of Rebirth Island.

A Call of Duty: Warzone wall glitch allows players to become invincible by hiding inside the mesh of a wall. On larger maps, the player would be forced to move as the zone slowly shifts, but with Rebirth Island being so small, this wall glitch is causing a much larger problem. In a clip posted by 3Dmo to Reddit, the player is inside the zone wielding dual pistols. As they charge forward, they suddenly feel gunfire hitting their back but are unable to find out where. Closer investigation shows that a wall inside one of the in-game buildings has bullets flowing from it, signaling a brand new wall glitch.

While hiding within a wall is irritating enough, fans are mostly upset that they can not kill the hidden player. The Call of Duty: Warzone engine reads the wall as solid and prevents bullets from entering it. While players are able to glitch their models inside, the bullets can only pass through the wall from one direction.

This does make wall glitches one of the more common Call of Duty: Warzone bugs. With the maps being extremely large, it can become difficult to patch every hole. Players can become extremely determined when searching for errors, and once a vulnerable wall or rock is found, they simply slip inside and wait.

Call of Duty: Warzone's developers tend to be quick to patch wall glitch errors. It is unknown if they are aware of this most recent appearance, but once it hits the developer Trello board, it is sure to be patched in an upcoming update. Until then, players are advised to avoid this section of wall in favor of other locales on the Call of Duty: Warzone Rebirth Island.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
