Call of Duty: Warzone players are in luck, as the cost to buy tiers of the battle pass is going to be severely discounted for a short while. Longtime players will know that the price of skipping a battle pass tier is typically 150 COD points, but starting July 21st and until July 27th, they can be purchased for just 100 COD points.

This information comes by way of Activision's weekly briefing, so it is definitely legit. Alongside this, a lot of other exciting news was announced for both Call of Duty: Warzone and other Call of Duty games as well.

While there's no definitive end date, Warzone season 4 is likely nearing its end. These tier skips will certainly help those players that just need a few more ranks to get to whatever it is they desire on the battle pass, and the 33% discount makes them that much more available to players.

The battle pass in Call of Duty: Warzone season 4 has 100 tiers, with increasingly great rewards scattered throughout at certain milestones. While this is awesome and gives players something to strive for, completionists will find that an immense amount of time needs to be devoted to the game in order to come close to filling it out. These tier skips can lessen that burden a bit, especially when it is getting close to the end of the season and the end of the pass. Unfortunately, some players simply don't have enough time to spend on Warzone to complete a pass, so this is a very viable option for them.

In terms of real life monetary value, the cheapest bundle players can buy is 200 COD points for $1.99, and the more points they buy at once the more cost effective it becomes. With that in mind, it seems that the base rate is about $1 per 100 COD points purchased. Call of Duty: Warzone's battle pass costs 1000 COD points (or about $10), so players wanting to buy the entire battle pass would need to spend around $110 as opposed to $160. It would be less than this because of the additional points gained from buying large quantities and the fact that Call of Duty's battle pass rewards COD points, but there wouldn't really be any to do this anyway.

Either way, this deal will certainly be helpful to player who find themselves with less time available to game or those that just want to get a specific tier quickly and easily. It's just one of many things discussed in the Activision blog, so interested players should be sure to check it out.
