Warzone 2.0 brings players a brand-new platform to test their Battle Royale skills. In this updated version of its predecessor, players have the opportunity to use "Contracts" as a form of gaining more money or giving themselves a tactical advantage in one aspect of the match. For new players, it can be hard to decide which contract to target at the start of the match, however, with this list players will get a better idea of when, and how to complete each one respectively.

For players that already feel they have mastered the basic mechanics of Warzone 2.0, hopefully, the following will shed new light on some of the objectives available and give players new strategies to practice when jumping in to help them get that crucial first-place spot.

4 Most Wanted

Warzone 2 DMZ

Most Wanted is easily the highest-risk contract available in Warzone. However, once completed, players arguably gain the best advantage from it. This is entirely dependent on the player's situation mid-game as it can be less advantageous to pick this one up. When the player picks this one up, they will be marked to all players on the map with a crown. Effectively putting the player at a massive disadvantage to anyone hunting them. A swarm of players will probably be on the way, when someone eliminates the Most Wanted, they receive a large amount of cash. The major benefit to this contract can be seen in the Duos, Trios, and Squad game modes. If the team is down and out, one team member can complete this contract to bring them all back with a good amount of money to go towards weapons from the buy station. If the Most Wanted player continues to loot the caches around the map, the 4-minute timer will count down even faster.

This gives the player 2 options when it comes to their strategy; hide and have a longer timer, or loot (high risk) and bring back their team faster. Neither option is necessarily the "best" but the player will have to assess the situation to see what's most effective. Unfortunately, this contract is currently removed from Warzone due to an XP glitch found by a few players. We hope this one will return soon, as it does provide a fun and easy option to bring the team back.

3 Secure Intel

Warzone 2.0 Secure Intel Contract

Secure Intel gives the player a massive advantage, with the ability to view the next zone location on completion. To begin, the player will need to find a computer hard drive, located in a designated area on the map. This will likely be close to where the player found the contract, so players won't have to worry about finding a vehicle to get there. As the player gets closer, the intel will be marked with an exact location. Once the player has the hard drive, they will need to take it to a radio tower and protect/stay near this location until the upload is complete.

Once finished, the player will be rewarded with a good amount of cash and info on the next circle. The team can chain these contracts together to gain a good amount of info on where the last zone may land. If the team gets extremely effective at this, it can become a good strategy for winning matches.

2 Safe Cracker

Warzone 2.0 Safe Cracker Contract

This contract is easily the safest option for all players. If players are looking for some quick cash and weapons, Safe Cracker is a great option. With a $4000 reward on top of the money players loot from each cash, they'll have plenty of money to purchase all the weapons and utility needed for the next few encounters. With 3 different safes marked on the map, it can be a good option to immediately land on this contract and start picking up some mid-tier loot early in the match. It can also be an easy way to get back in the match when returning from the Gulag.

When opening each safe, it will create a loud explosion making it easy for enemies to locate the player's position. As long as the player keeps an eye out for enemies in the area, this is a great way of starting the match with strong weaponry and utility.

1 Bounty

Warzone 2.0 Bounty Contract

Finally, the Bounty contact gives players a huge advantage over the team they're hunting. Once the player grabs this contract, it will mark a random team in close proximity to them with a rough area on the map. As they approach this area, it will get more accurate depending on the player's proximity to the target. Players will want to be slightly cautious when playing in the Duo, Trio, or Squad mode, as it doesn't mark the entire team, only a designated player on that team. This means the player could get flanked by an enemy when hunting the prey.

Once completed, the player will be rewarded with a decent amount of cash to use at a buy station. Players can easily chain these together to build up a huge amount of cash and stay on the tail of the enemy, rather than constantly being on the back foot.

Bonus: Tactical Nuke

warzone 2 nuke

Although the Nuke doesn't appear as a direct contract on the map, it is still available to all players when dropping into the map. This is easily the hardest contract to complete, but it will instantly end the match giving the team the win, This will also reward the player with a badge, calling card, charm, and sticker. For further guidance on how to drop the Nuke in Warzone 2.0 check out our "Nuke Rumors and Confirmation" guide.

Warzone 2.0 is now available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC through Steam and Battle.net.
