Call of Duty: Warzone 2's developers released a new update, implementing a few bug fixes and adjustments to Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Recently both games received more content as season 3 started a few days ago, and unfortunately, the new season came with a few problems.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 season 3 started on April 12, and many players have been grinding to unlock all the new content in the awaited update. The new season brought more than cosmetic items and new challenges, as the developers added weapons, operators, game modes, and new features to Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Luckily for players, the developers are still working on the game and released a new update fixing some issues that surfaced after the update went live.

As revealed on the official Infinity Ward Twitter account, the developers released a new update and the patch notes, sharing all the adjustments, bug fixes, and changes implemented to the game. According to the update's patch notes, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 developers improved the game's stability by fixing many known crashes. The developers also fixed some issues regarding the game's Battle Pass and Weapon Preview not acting as intended when using a controller. Fortunately for Call of Duty players, shortly before this update, the developers solved some issues on Massive Resurgence in Call of Duty: Warzone 2, so fans of the game mode can start queuing up for new matches.

Besides the formerly mentioned fixes and improvements, the developers solved an issue causing rewards not to be handed for completing the Hold the Line mission and improved Buy Station's interface for controller players for Battle Royale players. DMZ fans also got some attention from developers, as the development studio added a one-minute UAV cooldown to DMZ matches, so players do not spawn UAVs at the start of every game. Besides this addition to DMZ, the developers fixed many DMZ bugs hindering players' experience. Recently Call of Duty: Warzone 2 developers nerfed one of the best weapons in the game, so players should consider picking a new weapon before going to DMZ and testing these new fixes and improvements.

Since Call of Duty: Warzone 2 season 3 started, many players have encountered some unfortunate issues and problems with the game. Recently a Call of Duty: Warzone 2 player experienced a server latency issue that cost them the game, and according to the Reddit post the player made, more players are having the same problem.

Adjustments

  • Improved usability of controller stick rotation in Weapon Preview by preventing the weapon from sliding back and forth.
  • When you inspect a sector from the map view of the Battle Pass, the selection will now automatically take you to the most valuable reward in the sector.

Global Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause the Killcam not to trigger properly.
  • Fixed an issue causing users to be kicked back to the Main Menu after a second attempt to enter the Battle Pass.
  • Fixed an issue where despite having Dismemberment and Gore Effects turned off, enemies still exploded while using the "Singularity" Blueprint.
  • Fixed an issue where CDL weapon stickers would not show on weapons in-game or in Gunsmith.
  • Fixed an issue where you can trigger the search in the invite Players popup when you shouldn't.
  • Fixed an issue in the Events tab where the price of a Reward appeared in red even though you had enough Trophies to redeem it.
  • Fixed an issue where some Rewards in the level progression screen didn't have descriptions.
  • Fixed an issue where the Player could be kicked to the Main Menu after scrolling through the most recent players section of the Social screen.
  • Fixed an issue where Players wouldn't see rain on Pelayo's Lighthouse after infilling on the Kortac Team.
  • Fixed an issue where the base TAQ-56 would display when previewing non-Blueprint Rewards for Ranked Play.

WARZONE 2.0

Battle Royale Adjustments

  • Improved Buy Station interface for Players using a controller to now start on Gear Selection.
  • Fixed an issue causing rewards for the "Hold The Line" mission to not be rewarded to Players after completion.

Battle Royale Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing players to have spawn protection incorrectly applied after a Gulag match.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to spawn in a Battle Royale lobby with a Default Loadout instead of their favorited Loadout.
  • Fixed an issue causing players to crash when attempting to open the AAR.

DMZ Adjustments

  • Added a one-minute countdown on DMZ match start before the Player can use UAV Killstreak.
  • Added a message in DMZ Active Duty Operator Slots explaining that the last Operator cannot be dismissed.

DMZ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the "Enforcer" Raid reward was not properly equipped in DMZ.
  • Fixed an issue where the "Double Cross" Mission in DMZ would incorrectly require a specific Dead Drop location
  • Fixed an issue where Players using a controller were unable to pick up an enemy's backpack after eliminating them.
  • Fixed an issue that could duplicate weapons after dropping and stowing inventory interactions in DMZ.
