Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is no stranger to odd visual glitches and the latest one captured in a video shows a massive light bloom that douses random objects on the map in rainbow light. Unfortunately, it seems Activision's free to play game is suffering through some difficult times as the Warzone 2 player base continues to reportedly drop, with a leading cause like attributed to the numerous glitches and bugs that interfere with normal gameplay.

While nearly everyone has an opinion on the state of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, there's no denying that new issues and bugs continue to appear, an unfortunate side effect of being a live service title that is updated often. Some of these bugs can be game breaking, such as an invincibility glitch associated with the train that moves around Al Mazrah, giving some players an unfair advantage. In addition to those game breaking issues, some glitches players run into can be more on the lighthearted side of things.

The latest glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 comes from a user named jamcowl who posted a 30-second clip of a recent match on Al Mazrah. Set to the tune of Rainbow Road, the clip shows the player riding around on a Quad Bike, when a massive bloom of light appears over the horizon, causing a nearby pipe system to be lit up in rainbow light. Passing through it suddenly turns part of the quad and the backpack of the player to also erupt into rainbow light. Before long, other random parts of the Al Mazrah map start pulsating rainbow light before part of the camera is obscured by a bright, white light.

While the whole sequence is pretty fascinating, the lighting and bright white that obscures the screen is a serious problem for jamcowl as they attempt to stay alive against other Call of Duty: Warzone players. Naturally, there were plenty of comments and jokes related to what was happening on screen including Mario Kart, finding Norse God Heimdall at the end of the Bifrost, to a new rave party in Fortnite. However, there were plenty of others who expressed that they had seen the same issues in recent matches as well.

Lighting related problems are nothing new for Warzone. In fact, its predecessor suffered from a number of visual effect issues. Even after Raven Software tweaked the lighting in Call of Duty: Warzone, there were plenty of video clips showing strange visuals like overly aggressive sun glare, rainbow colors inside houses, as well as a lighting issue that looked pretty similar to what jamcowl was experiencing here.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
