Call of Duty reveals that Amazon's hit TV series The Boys is coming back for another collaboration event with Modern Warfare 3. 

Season 1 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 will introduce Multiplayer Ranked Play, encouraging players to participate in competitive 4v4 matches that mirror the settings, modes, and maps of the Call of Duty League (CDL). Accessible after reaching Level 55, ranked play unlocks all gameplay items for use, with certain restrictions aligning with CDL competitive rules, creating an intriguing esports atmosphere. A notable twist awaits, as friendly fire is enabled in all ranked play matches, adding an extra layer of strategy and caution.

MW3 Ranked Multiplayer Mode
  • CDL Search & Destroy: No respawning; 1.5-minute round timer; Friendly Fire enabled. Supported maps include Highrise, Invasion, Karachi, Skidrow, and Terminal.
  • CDL Hardpoint: 5-minute time limit; 250 score limit; 60-second objective rotation; Friendly Fire enabled. Supported maps include Invasion, Karachi, Skidrow, Sub Base, and Terminal.
  • CDL Control: 30 lives per team; 1.5-minute time limit; 3-round win limit; Friendly Fire enabled. Supported maps include Highrise, Invasion, and Karachi.

A new ranking system will be introduced, featuring a permanent Rank, with players starting at Rank 1. Players will navigate eight Skill Divisions and Tiers based on Skill Rating (SR), emphasizing personal and team performance. A Hot Streak mechanic awards a flaming rank for three consecutive wins, with flames progressing until a loss or after 72 hours. CDL ranked plays will include maps and modes such as Search & Destroy, Hardpoint, and Control, featuring various rules like no respawning, a 1.5-minute round timer, Friendly Fire, a 5-minute time limit, a 250-score cap, and 30 lives per team.

Furthermore, enticing rewards for Ranked Play victories, such as exclusive weapon stickers, blueprints, charms, and decals, sweeten the deal. Rewards at the end of the Skill Division season, including unique emblems, operator skins, weapon charms, and even animated calling cards, are among the offerings that players can expect from Modern Warfare 3 in 2024.
