Hitting a moving target at a distance with a rocket can be a difficult challenge when it comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare,  as players sometimes spend a lot of time trying to perfect the shot, only to miss or get gunned down while aiming. One Modern Warfare fan has found the sweet spot, and is now sharing their informative photo with the game's community.

In the grind for Damascus, players will eventually be confronted with the difficult challenges built into the Launcher category. One that is particularly hard is the Strela, a launcher that requires manual aiming with no target lock options. One slight miscalculation can cause the rocket to miss completely by overshooting the target or falling behind.

The images posted to Reddit show the proper aiming spot for taking down UAVs and other aerial targets. By adjusting slightly off-center players must take the target's movement into consideration. This means aiming ahead of where the target currently is. After that players should keep weapon drift in mind, line up the shot accordingly, and fire. The Strella targets best on the bottom-left section of the crosshair, while the standard RPG will require a tad bit of fine-tuning mixed with guesswork.

These two launchers tend to be the most difficult to handle in terms of completing challenges. While other launchers have heat-seeking, auto-lock, and several other features to aid in aiming, the RPG and Strella must be handled manually. This adds an extra level of challenge to taking down scorestreaks or hitting a moving target.

Once fans make it past the scorestreak challenges the next problem is damage. Both the Strela and RPG are designed as anti-vehicle weapons. This means that they deal with minimal blast damage while prioritizing direct hits and penetration. While hitting scorestreaks is hard, hitting an enemy player can be even more frustrating.

Thankfully the aiming tips found in the above images can help with that too. The adjustment needed is much smaller but follows a similar principle. Players should always aim ahead of their target, and when possible, try and aim slightly off of the expected impact point. For added control, try to crouch before firing the rocket. The RPG will sometimes curve into a random direction, but if crouching the weapon fires almost perfectly straight.
