Call of Duty: Modern Warfare adds new weapons each season, giving players the chance to unlock them either through the Battle Pass, purchase them with microtransactions, or earn them by completing special in-game challenges. Infinity Ward has so far kept tight-lipped when it comes to what Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 will entail, but now it appears possible Season 4 weapons have leaked online.
These leaks come from a post by Reddit user JeaneJWE and the latest video by frequent Call of Duty franchise leaker TheGamingRevolution. Based on their evidence, which includes in-game images thanks to datamining, it seems likely that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 will launch with the Galil and the Vector SMG, with the HK G28 being one of the weapons that's added later in the season.
This isn't the first time that the Vector SMG has been leaked for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As some may recall, the Vector SMG was originally leaked back in November alongside the crossbow weapon. The crossbow was added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare not long after that, but the Vector SMG still has yet to see the light of the day. If these leaks are accurate, though, it seems like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans will be able to get their hands on the Vector SMG in just a matter of weeks.
Evidence for some other new weapons were also shared by the leakers. There is evidence in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare files that the APC9 and the XM109 could both be coming to the game at some point in the future. However, it doesn't seem likely that the guns will be added as part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4, though anything is possible. Fans will just have to wait for some official information from Infinity Ward to be sure.
When these new weapons are added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it will be interesting to see how they're received by the community. It seems most new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare weapons are overpowered at the start, with Infinity Ward later having to make tweaks to better balance them. Whether or not that will be necessary with the Galil, Vector SMG, or any of the other leaked Modern Warfare Season 4 guns remains to be seen, but we should find out sooner rather than later.
