Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has its fair share of glitches in its online multiplayer, and while some frustrate players, others are actually rather amusing. Take, for instance, a recent Modern Warfare glitch that happened to Reddit user Donutdude117 where his gun was literally on fire.

Donutdude117 had a Molotov cocktail equipped before respawning into the match with a gun, which was on fire. He then swapped to a different gun, and it was even more aflame. In the clip, players can see that the flames are extensive enough that they were obscuring Donutdude117's vision when he tried to aim down the sights.

Donutdude177 doesn't seem to know how to react to the flaming gun at first, but then accepts it and runs out into the Shoot House map in search of enemies. Unfortunately, an enemy player manages to kill Donutdude117 before he is able to take any of them down with the flaming gun.

While some Modern Warfare bugs draw the ire of the community, this one actually seems to have been well-received. At the time of this writing, the post has over 13,500 upvotes on Reddit, with many comments saying they would willingly pay for a special weapon skin like this. Considering how the flames obscured Donutdude117's vision, it's unlikely that Infinity Ward will add it to the game. Those who want to a flaming gun for themselves will just have to try to replicate the bug, though a surefire method is unknown.

Fans can't unlock a flaming gun for themselves in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but there are still many cosmetics to get in the game. Some can be purchased from the in-game store, whereas others have to be earned through gameplay. Some of this content requires players to progress through the Modern Warfare Battle Pass, and some can only be obtained through completing challenges.

Besides cosmetics, Modern Warfare players also have some more substantial content that they can unlock in the game. For example, the Modern Warfare crossbow was recently added, though it requires players to complete a rather lengthy challenge if they want to add it to their arsenal. It will be interesting to see if future weapons will also require a challenge to complete or if they will be added to the game in other ways.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
