There are several playstyles that prosper in the chaotic battlefields of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The best bet is to find the loadout and style that fits each fan's personal preference. One of the more popular styles of play in Modern Warfare is known as 'Run and Gun.'
The concept is fairly simple. Players choose a fast mid or close-ranged weapon and rush the enemy line. Depending on the player's reaction time, loadout, and overall situation they will either dominate the engagement or be killed and sent to respawn. This set up for the MP7 will accent the damage, recoil, and aim speed of the weapon. This is best paired with a handgun for a sidearm and the perks Ghost, Spotter, and Double Time. Players using this set up will find that they can beam down enemies easily but should be cautious when rounding close corners or engaging in long-range battles.

It is recommended to run a knife as a sidearm to allow for quick silent kills when in close-quarter situations. Perk suggestions are Double Time, High Alert, and Amped.

The AUG is naturally tuned for sprinting and hip firing. The fast-paced SMG is a fan favorite in a variety of modes. This entire build is designed to accent those skills. The laser and stock will make hip fire more accurate while sleight of hand offers a quick reload in tight situations. Players are recommended to run a handgun as their secondary and the perks Double Time, Restock, and Tracker. Flash or Stun grenades will help players breach tight locations so consider them for the Tactical slot.
