Highlights

  • A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies bug is prevents players from progressing in the Cargo Delivery contract due to the cargo vehicle being missing.
  • This is not the first bug that players have encountered in the game mode, with glitches such as being thrown out of helicopters and piloting the exfil chopper highlighted.
  • Cargo Delivery contracts are popular among players for their quick completion times and minimal fighting, making this bug particularly disappointing as it wastes a valuable task. Still, the initial shock of the missing vehicle could get a laugh out of fans.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has no shortage of bugs, though the latest one that is impacting Cargo Delivery contracts is as silly as it is frustrating. For some reason, unlucky Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies fans cannot even progress in the contract because the cargo vehicle is nowhere to be seen.

This is far from the first bug that players have pointed out within MWZ. Problematic glitches have seen players being tossed out of the helicopter as they attempt to exfil from Urzikstan, while constant crashes made the first week of the mode’s life much less fun than it could have been. Some humorous bugs have also been encountered, like one where a player was able to pilot Modern Warfare 3 Zombies’ exfil helicopter, and this Cargo Delivery contract finds itself somewhere between funny and annoying.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Has a New Overpowered Weapon

Though fan favorites like the Akimbo Tyr revolvers and Crossbow have been nerfed, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has a new meta gun.

Shared by Reddit user Cretulescu2, the bug in question is relatively simple and only requires an image instead of a video to highlight the problem. After interacting with thecContract device and accepting the Cargo Delivery task, the player opens the garage door for one of the gas stations where the trucks are always found. However, despite the marker indicating that the car should be in the garage, there is no vehicle to be seen despite the player needing the truck to finish the contract and get their rewards.

Unsurprisingly, this bug led to a number of jokes from the Call of Duty Zombies community in the comments section. Some referenced Kapoor, a character in MWZ who guides the player and regularly mentions vehicles turning on by themselves when the Aether Storm begins to grow larger. Others joked that the cargo trucks were removed and placed into a pay-to-win bundle that costs 2800 COD Points, adding that Call of Duty’s battle pass is required if players want wheels. Still, as funny as the initial realization that the car is missing might be, a bit of disappointment is likely to follow.

Cargo Deliveries in MWZ have long been a popular choice for most players for a number of reasons. They are quick to complete, but beyond that, they require nearly no fighting beyond the mercenaries near the car, as players can simply run over the horde of Zombies at the deposit site. With the enemy helicopter being easy to dodge, too, Cargo Delivery contracts are an ideal choice for players who lack good gear but want either some easy points or a chance at high-end schematics. Though players who run into this bug can just open their map and cancel the contract, that means that a valuable Cargo Delivery task has been wasted for the entire lobby.

Though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is a huge success for Activision and Treyarch, it seems that work still has to be done to make the mode more polished. Hopefully, future patches continue to address any bugs that gamers encounter when playing MWZ.
