Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will add a stamina bar to its HUD to help players manage their movement in the game. This revelation came via a recent Q&A session conducted by Sledgehammer Games with Twitch streamer Repullze, which revealed details about future updates coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Despite its commercial success, Modern Warfare 3 is the worst-rated game in Call of Duty history. This is largely due to its mediocre single-player campaign, which invited a barrage of negative reviews. While the community might be unhappy with Modern Warfare 3’s campaign, its multiplayer mode has been a hit among the fans; however, even that has seen its fair share of issues since its launch. To remedy this, Activision has detailed its plans to fix certain issues highlighted by the players, along with the announcement of some interesting features.

Recently, Modern Warfare 3 developer Sledgehammer Games hosted a Q&A session with Twitch streamer Repullze, and announced that a stamina bar would be added to the game soon. Senior Development Director Adam Iscove and MP Creative Director Greg Reisdorf mentioned that this was specifically to enhance players’ movement management. However, a timeline for its implementation was not revealed. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 also brought back slide-canceling to the game, which the fans appreciated. Conversely, players were disappointed with Sledgehammer’s decision to remove bunny hopping from the game, which the developer acknowledged recently and hinted towards its addition in a future update.

Aside from this, Sledgehammer Games also hosted an AMA session on Reddit. The session lasted for quite some time as several players got their questions answered, but the developers dodged all questions about skill-based matchmaking in Modern Warfare 3. Fans have already expressed their disappointment with the aggressive SBMM system in Modern Warfare 3, but were even more frustrated with Sledgehammer's refusal to answer questions on the topic.

Considering the current player sentiment surrounding Modern Warfare 3, Activision has already implemented some big changes to improve the situation. For instance, a recent update made a plethora of changes to the Armory Unlocks, Zombies mode, and overall gameplay mechanics, which included tweaking the movement fluidity in the game. Additionally, a recent announcement revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will bring back the fan-favorite Shipment map soon, and the double XP event dates for Modern Warfare 3 have also been confirmed.
