Call of Duty has confirmed the addition of the Dune: Part 2 skins with the start of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 on December 6. This week, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 revealed details about its debut season, which will bring new content like skins, perks, and killstreaks.

Call of Duty is a franchise used to receiving crossover skins. Modern Warfare 2 has skins like Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and more. Call of Duty has confirmed that it will add Dune: Part 2 skins as part of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's first season. Slated to start on December 6, Modern Warfare 3's debut season will add Paul Atreides, based on the character played by Timothée Chalamet, and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, based on the villain portrayed by Austin Butler. Additional details haven't been revealed, but the expectation is that each bundle will cost 2400 COD Points. This is the second crossover between Call of Duty and Dune, which previously added a skin based on the Sardaukar faction.

As well as revealing that the Dune: Part 2 skins are coming to the game, the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 detailed other upcoming content. The shooter will receive three new 6v6 maps and a 2v2 map. Gunfight will be back, along with other modes such as Santa's Slayground to celebrate the holiday season. Call of Duty: Warzone players will have a lot to look forward to, such as the new Urzikstan map and the new Coyote vehicle. Quality of life improvements will be coming to Warzone Season 1, such as adjustments to water combat and dedicated ammo slots. A new POI awaits Warzone players, who will fight to control a drivable train in Urzikstan.

Unlike the previous iteration of the Call of Duty x Dune crossover, the Modern Warfare 3 skins promote the sequel to the 2021 movie that hits theaters in 2024. But this isn't the only news in terms of cosmetics for players, as a leak suggests that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 may get The Walking Dead skins. Another leak suggests a new collaboration between Call of Duty and The Boys, featuring a themed event with skins and other rewards.
