The Modern Warfare 3 campaign recently became available in early access, but initial reactions suggest that it's a letdown.

Prominent Call of Duty content creator TheGamingRevolution took to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction with the quality of the Modern Warfare 3 campaign missions. He critiqued the narrative, emphasizing the lack of tension, stakes, and an abundance of what he considered "pointless filler." According to him, the game played it safe, introducing nothing particularly original or engaging. The player also pointed out that the ending felt forced and disconnected from the rest of the narrative.

Comparing Modern Warfare 3 to the original Modern Warfare trilogy, TheGamingRevolution emphasized the absence of emotional and impactful moments in the new installment, making it feel more like an extension of Modern Warfare 2. The critiques prominently emphasized the lack of originality and a sense of repetition in the series, along with the belief that the game primarily served as a prelude for Activision to market another Call of Duty game in the future. Another major complaint from players was the campaign's extremely short length, lasting only 4 hours.
