A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer bug sees the operator skins of four players combine in a pre-game lobby to form a strange looking figure. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's holiday-themed CODMAS event just recently concluded, but its Zombies-inspired Vortex multiplayer mode is still live, which brings map reskins of Scrapyard, Rust, and Quarry.

It seems a bug in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer lobby screen has caused a strange mashup of different operator skins. On Reddit, forhead123 posted an image of an entity in a four-player multiplayer lobby made out of each player's operator. Since all four operators are clipped on top of one another, it's difficult to tell exactly which skins they are. The most prominent one features a sort of ancient Roman warrior garb with purple-eyed hound heads on its shoulders. Judging by the silver legs of this abhorrent creature, it seems one of these operators is from Modern Warfare 3's Vault Edition, likely Warden based on part of her tactical helmet which is visible on the figure's head.

The exorbitant prices of Call of Duty's operator bundles have often been subject to criticism in the community over the past several years. One commenter under forhead123's Reddit post joked that Call of Duty should call this unholy operator mashup "The Monstrosity" and offer it for 2800 COD Points in the in-game store. Another comment pointed out that this abomination resembled Bloodhound from EA's multiplayer FPS competitor Apex Legends. In support of this observation is the figure's gas mask coupled with some sort of round halo over its head, evoking Bloodhound's iconic mask and headpiece.

This random multiplayer menu bug doesn't seem like a widespread or common issue, though it certainly seems like it's most likely to happen with parties of multiple players. As Modern Warfare 3's Vortex mode wraps up on January 17, players will undoubtedly begin to look ahead to what's in store next for the game during the rest of the Winter with Season 2.
