Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Favela map is getting a colorful new makeover in Bit Party, the new playlist modifier coming as part of Season 4 Reloaded. The mid-season refresh of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is set to go live on June 26, and will add an all-new 6v6 multiplayer map called Incline alongside a bevy of new modes, including Havoc and Headshots Only.

First introduced to Modern Warfare 3 at the beginning of Season 4, Playlist Modifiers help shake things up for Call of Duty players by adding twists to multiplayer gameplay. The four different variants involve alterations as to how players can build up their killstreaks. One modifier makes players drop a cache of their killstreak percentage upon death, which can be picked up and used by opponents. Another allows players to use an unlimited number of killstreaks in a single life, upping the ante and opening the door for absolute mayhem.

Sledgehammer Games Responds to Cyber Attack Requests For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Developer Sledgehammer Games responds to fan requests for the popular game mode Cyber Attack to return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Modern Warfare 3's Season 4 Reloaded is adding another playlist modifier named Bit Party. Unlike the original modifiers, Bit Party isn't tied to killstreaks and instead adds a bit of wackiness to the Call of Duty battleground. During a Bit Party match, players' heads grow in size as they accumulate kills. Players with inflated heads score more points for their team when killing opponents or capturing points in objective-based modes. The only drawback is that players with big heads are easier targets, and once eliminated, they'll respawn with normal-sized heads, losing their scoring bonus until they earn more kills.

Call of Duty Introduces Roblox-Like Variant Of Favela

The Bit Party playlist modifier will take place on several Vortex variant maps, and will even introduce an all-new variant for one of the game's most popular maps, Favela. Renamed Bitvela, this variant gives Favela a bright new voxel-based art style that looks like a scene straight out of Roblox or Minecraft with vibrant colors and a blue sky filled with puffy white clouds. A new Retro Warfare Event will coincide with Bit Party and will likely include a new set of challenges for players to complete with the new playlist modifier. To go along with the theme, Modern Warfare 3 is also adding a new operator skin bundle to the shop, which gives members of Call of Duty's Task Force 141 a colorful voxel makeover.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Bit Party seems like a fun twist, and its addition of playlist modifiers feels like a great way to shake things up for everyday Call of Duty players. Now that Season 4 of Modern Warfare 3 is hitting its midpoint on June 26, players should expect to begin hearing more about Season 5 in the coming weeks.
