Some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players get mistakenly trapped on Shipment by a Sentry Gun. Modern Warfare 2 offers gamers a wide variety of killstreaks to choose from, with UAVs, VTOL Jets, and Cruise missiles probably being among the most popular ones available in the game.

Some players also go for the sentry gun killstreak, allowing them to place a turret in a strategic location and control that part of the map. It’s especially useful while playing objective-based game modes in Modern Warfare 2, but it can also help get tons of kills on small maps like Shipment. The placement of the sentry gun is crucial, as a few fans find out that it can have some unintended consequences.

A Reddit user named proudcatownerss has shared a clip from a match of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the Shipment map. As seen in the video, a teammate has placed a sentry gun inside one of the containers on the edge of Shipment, unintentionally trapping gamers behind it. Players trapped by the sentry gun try their best to get out of the tight situation to no avail, and they are unable to destroy the killstreak as it’s been dropped by a teammate.

It’s funny to see the players desperately trying to destroy the sentry gun, but they are finally able to get out by the end of the clip. This particular crate is a popular camping spot on Modern Warfare 2, and it’s likely for players to run into multiple opponents whenever they come near it.

One user in the comments section suggests that other players should stop hiding inside these containers, as teammates can spawn inside and get trapped behind them. It also allows opponents to get multiple kills with lethal equipment, possibly swinging the tide of battle in their favor. It seems like several Call of Duty players have been trapped inside this container at some point, with one gamer wanting to start a petition for making these crates wider in Modern Warfare 2.

Despite its popularity, Shipment was not a part of Modern Warfare 2 at launch, as it came as a part of free post-launch DLC. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans interested in playing on Shipment can take advantage of a 24/7 playlist available in the game. However, users should note that this mode is not always available, as Activision regularly changes the active playlists in Modern Warfare 2.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
