On May 26, a Reddit user called Bivshtex007 shared an unfortunate experience they had while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While playing Hardpoint on Farm 18, the player started experiencing a sudden Packet Burst while going to the current Hardpoint, leaving them vulnerable to enemies around, and after a few seconds, getting themself killed by a fast enemy player using a knife. Recently, many Call of Duty players have reported problems within the game, but server problems like this keep surfacing.

The Reddit post's comment section is full of players sharing similar experiences, and some claim these problems have been happening more after recent updates. According to some Reddit users, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has also been subject to connection issues like this, and a few gamers playing in the new ranked game mode had to stay in matches with unplayable high latency values, something rather annoying as players lose SR after every lost game.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Reloaded brought lots of content into the game, but no one expected the kinds of issues the new season update would bring to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Many players are still grinding the new Battle Pass, and some are still unlocking some of the new weapons, so is safe to say most players will keep themselves busy while developers implement a fix.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
