Since Season 5 Reloaded began for Modern Warfare 2, the Task Force Leakers Network has been examining game files and finding evidence of planned operator skins to come. These skins include Skeletor from He-Man, Spawn, and Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series. The individual or group behind the Network, with a record of breaking Call of Duty news, has been revealing their findings on Twitter and expressing excitement for what's to come.

Also among the apparent incoming skins are Captain Price as he appears in the original Modern Warfare 2, Hellsing's Alucard, and a literal primate in military gear. If these leaks prove accurate, Activision would seem to be trying to appeal to as many different players as possible. The new operators will offer plenty of nostalgia for fans of older franchises along with a healthy dose of ridiculousness. Ash Williams, in particular, will likely be a hit with many as his series continues to maintain a passionate fan base; there's still a demand for Evil Dead merchandise and collectibles in 2023.

Between all of these rumored skins and the recent release of the 21 Savage operator bundle in Modern Warfare 2, fans should expect to see lots of new content on the battlefield in the future. Modern Warfare 3 may be the near future for the franchise, but Activision is making clear that it's not done with the current entry just yet. Gamers might want to keep an eye out for confirmation about these skins in the coming days.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
