TiMi Studio Group continues to improve on Call of Duty Mobile as a live service, with plans for Season 2: Heavy Metal being recently revealed. Call of Duty Mobile refreshed its schedule with Season 1 at the conclusion of the original Season 13, and the second track of seasons proceeds with Heavy Metal which brings its own goodies like any other one in the past.

Call of Duty Mobile has confirmed numerous things joining the multiplayer lineup with the next update like a new map, game modes, weapons, and more. Although some Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer fans have expressed some disappointment with the live service offerings of the latest mainline installment in the COD franchise, Call of Duty Mobile players don't often voice regrets. With many of Call of Duty's best characters, maps, weapons, and game modes already included with Call of Duty Mobile, TiMi Studio Group continues to improve upon an already popular title.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer map called Diesel will arrive in Call of Duty Mobile with Season 2: Heavy Metal on February 22 alongside new variants for Control and Goliath. Chaos Control ramps up the speed and intensity of the standard Control, while Goliath Clash tasks players with converging on a capture point to acquire batteries and other upgrades that may contribute to their victory. Beyond Call of Duty Mobile's multiplayer, TiMi Studio Group is bringing in a new battle royale class called the Ravager Launcher which is able to place a sentry turret or use a High DMG lock-on missile to defeat their opponents.

Each Call of Duty Mobile season includes limited-time challenges that offer their own rewards and rotating in-game shop offerings that further a player's ability to express themselves on the battlefield. The Maddox assault rifle from Black Ops 4 is returning with Call of Duty Mobile, and players can also expect an assortment of attachments to use with it as they level up the weapon. Adding to the Call of Duty Mobile loadout options, Season 2: Heavy Metal also features a new perk known as Unit Support which apparently helps players level up

Given that the Call of Duty Mobile updates don't drop at a universal time, some players may be waiting into obscure hours of the night on February 22 to play Heavy Metal which launches at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. With Heavy Metal coming in the near future, existing players only have a few days to progress through what's left of Season 1: Reawakening.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now for Android and iOS.
