Within a community update, the Call of Duty Mobile development team gave fans info on everything they can expect to see in the game over the next few weeks. The post contains a schedule showcasing every relevant date for the next month of content, with the return of party games and new modes confirmed to be releasing soon.

First and foremost, gamers can expect a new seasonal event with a WW2 setting starting August 21 and ending on September 3. Acquiring soldiers from multiplayer play and weaponry from refining weapons in the gunsmith, players will use these to attack Axis nodes on a war-torn map of Europe. This strategy game tasking players with finding different routes through the map is a very different kind of event for the on-the-go title, and it will be interesting to see how Call of Duty Mobile fans feel about it going forward.

Battle Royale’s warfare mode will be playable this weekend, while Gun Game will be playable from August 21-27. The popular party mode where people cycle through weaponry upon every kill is one of many popular bits of Call of Duty history packed into the mobile game. The series’ most popular maps, characters, and game modes have made COD Mobile an incredible success, with even Zombies mode making an appearance before later being removed.

Next up, a 10v10 modifier will be added to the game from August 21-September 3, which will give existing modes the option to be played with 20 player lobbies. Like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, those 20 players will be crammed onto the fan favorite map Shipment. For less hectic action with a high player count, COD Mobile fans can also play 10v10 on the Crossfire, Takeoff, and Meltdown maps.

Finally, starting on August 28th, fans can expect the grand return of Prop Hunt to Call of Duty Mobile. The classic, goofy game mode where players disguise themselves as random objects littered around the map has been a mainstay in the Call of Duty series for the last few years. Recently, datamines have revealed that prop hunt may even be coming to Call of Duty Warzone. Every time Prop Hunt is entered into the rotation of modes, on COD Mobile and in the full-on AAA entries in the series, it sees thousands of players having a blast hiding around the map. The mode is wildly popular, so hopefully it sticks around for awhile before it’s switched out with something else.

The patch notes also include adjustments to the Gunsmith in Battle Royale and changes for Molotov Cocktails, showing as much of a focus on refining the current content as there is on adding new things. Call of Duty Mobile has received incredible support thus far, and this update proves that support will continue on for a long time to come.

Call of Duty Mobile is out now on iOS and Android mobile devices.
