A staple of the Call of Duty Zombies mode is the ability for players to find powerful wonder weapons that they can add to their arsenals, giving them a significant advantage over the undead. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode is no different, with players able to get their hands on a devastatingly powerful wonder weapon called the DIE Shockwave, but there are a few steps that they have to complete first if they want to unlock it.
Here is how to unlock the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War wonder weapon for the Die Maschine Zombies map.
Step 1:Â Turn On the Power and Build the Pack-A-Punch
Like with most Call of Duty Zombies maps, the very first things Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies players will want to do is turn on the power. There are big purple arrows painted on the walls that will lead players directly to the power, which is located in an underground lab. Players will want to kill zombies until they have enough points to buy all the doors leading to the lab, and may want to consider buying perks like Juggernog along the way as well.
After turning on the power, the next step is to forge the Pack-A-Punch machine. Putting together the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Pack-A-Punch machine isn't too difficult. Players simply need to follow the objective markers to turn on the Dark Aether portal, then step inside. While in the Dark Aether world, players will want to follow the objective marker to the fast-travel portal, which will put them in the room with the machine part they need. Grab the part and then deliver it to the designated location to build the Pack-A-Punch.
Step 2: Keycard and DIE Remote Control
The second step to get the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies wonder weapon is to collect the yellow keycard, which is dropped by the Megaton zombie. The Megaton will spawn at the start of the next round after players have built the Pack-A-Punch machine, so focus fire on him until he dies. The Megaton will then split into two smaller zombies, and players will want to kill them both as quickly as possible. The second one to die will drop a keycard.
Grab the keycard and head to the Weapons Lab in the underground research area (first door on the right before the Dark Aether portal room). There's a spot for a Mystery Box in here, with machines on the opposite wall. The keycard goes to these machines, and inserting it will reward players with the DIE Remote Control.
Step 3: Nacht Der Untoten Living Room
With the DIE Remote Control in tow, players should head to the Living Room area in the Nacht der Untoten building. Opposite of the stairway is a locked room with a crack in the wall. If players look through the crack, they can see a machine on the other side. Activate the machine, which will create a vortex. Kill about 30 zombies near enough to the vortex for it to collect their souls. If enough souls are collected, players can then interact with the machine again to blow the door off its hinges, step inside, and grab the DIE Shockwave wonder weapon.
