Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies is a learning experience, as even veteran players will need some time to adjust to the mode’s new features and Megaton enemies. Using the best weapon available could come in handy for learning the ins and outs of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies, and some players already know what weapon that is.
While Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Ray Gun reigns supreme, marking a major return to form for the weapon, the best traditional gun in the mode takes the form of a shotgun. The Gallo SA12 (a variation of the classic SPAS-12) seems to be the king of Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies offering, with the weapon doing immense damage to undead hordes that players have to go up against. Players can also customize the weapon and spawn in with the gun via their loadout.
Multiple Call of Duty Zombies YouTubers have shared footage of the weapon in action, but MrRoflWaffles provided a detailed loadout for the gun as opposed to just gameplay. The Zombies expert warns players to avoid grips at all costs, but offered flexibility regarding an optic or muzzle. The other attachments are a lock, however, with a magazine that gives more shells in each clip to a stock that makes players move faster. Together, all of these attachments make the Black Ops Cold War Zombies Gallo an absolute monster.

Players will need to use Pack-A-Punch and other tools to make the weapon more effective as the game progresses, as loadout weapons in Black Ops Cold War Zombies quickly weaken if their rarity is not improved. A fully-packed, max rarity version of the Gallo, along with these attachments recommended by MrRoflWaffles and other Zombies fanatics, is one of the best gun players can use within the popular survival mode.
For players that still need to level up the Gallo, they can do so in multiplayer mode as well due to Black Ops Cold War's shared progression. Leveling up the gun in Zombies mode is just as viable, however, as a Rare version of the weapon can be obtained via a wall purchase as soon as players exit Nacht Der Untoten. Located by Juggernog, this basic Gallo should still prove effective when pack-a-punched.
For players attempting to complete the main quest of Die Maschine, or just looking to reach a high round, the Gallo SA-12 is the best option available. Whether it is the wall version or the fully-customized machine, the Gallo is a powerhouse that every player should consider using in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies.
