The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content arrives on Wednesday, and Activision has posted a trailer fully detailing the Season 1 Battle Pass. Highlighting new operator Stitch as well as the additional weapons, the action-packed trailer gives players an idea of the most exciting things to unlock during the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The trailer opens with a focus on the new operator Stitch, though with Stitch and Adler’s history highlighted in a previous trailer, the operator is only briefly mentioned in this one. However, a post on the Call of Duty Blog confirms that Stitch will work like other Battle Pass operators, instantly unlocked at Tier 0 upon buying the pass. A “Prisoner” skin can be unlocked for Stitch at Tier 100, as well as a special emblem and blueprint.

The trailer then focuses on an official showcase of the leaked Season 1 weapons, with the high fire-rate of the MAC 10 SMG being on full display. The impressive range of the Groza assault rifle is also highlighted in the trailer, giving players who prefer to sit further back from the fight another option. Intriguingly, the Streetsweeper shotgun was not present in the trailer, likely confirming player suspicions that the weapon will be added to the game later as part of a mid-season update.

Next up, the Battle Pass trailer highlighted multiple weapon blueprints, with operators firing off the stylish weapon variants on the returning Black Ops 2 map Raid. The Call of Duty Blog post confirmed that at least one of the blueprints will be free, with the other special designs being locked behind the Battle Pass. The trailer ends by confirming that the pass will include 100 tiers of content, mirroring previous passes.

More details are available within the blog post, confirming that operator missions and skins will be coming back as well. Adler seems to be getting plenty of love this season, and a few of the new outfits are shown off in the trailer as well. Much like with previous Battle Passes, players can once again earn 1300 CoD Points through completion of the pass — enough to buy Season 2’s pass for free. The post also confirms that fans of Call of Duty Zombies can “unlock additional rewards” through Battle Pass Missions “for the first time ever.”

With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Battle Pass system being extremely successful, and some fans still hoping for Season 7, it makes sense that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is following the same pattern. With the system that players loved returning in the latest Battle Pass, the future of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is looking bright.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
