Everyone may be talking about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot these days, since it’s just about a month from release, but Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 hasn’t been abandoned just yet. Next week will see Treyarch kick off the latest season of content for its first-person shooter, and it is called Operation Dark Divide.

As announced on Reddit, Operation Dark Divide will be released for the PlayStation 4 version of the game on Monday, September 23, bringing with it new content and gear based on the theme of “superheroes vs. villains.” The update will also see the release of the final two maps exclusive to the Black Ops Pass as well as the conclusion to the current Zombies storyline “Tag der Toten.”

Beyond this information, details are sparse. Nothing was indicated about when Operation Dark Divide will be heading to PC and Xbox One, for instance. That may be remedied next week, as Treyarch is planning to host a studio broadcast on Monday to reveal more about what it still has in store for the game.

But until then, players have a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to dive into today. The update comes with plenty of fresh content, such as a flooded (and currently PS4-exclusive) version of the Jungle map, aptly named “Jungle Flooded,” that sports new elements like light weather elements and an underwater capture point. Additionally, there have been two changes to the Havelina AA50 sniper rifle, a Black Ops 4 weapon, as aim assist has been removed and the damage values of the High Caliber II attachment have been corrected. Greater precision will be required to use this weapon from now on.

The rest of the update mostly involves zombies in some form. For the last season, Operation Apocalypse Z, zombies began roaming the maps of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, bringing constant night with them. However, today’s update has begun rolling them back as well as returning the maps to their original day-lit versions. The update also boasts multiple fixes for Zombies mode, including an increased ammo count for the M16 and improvements to the spawning logic for the Hellhound enemy type.

With all this and more to come with Operation Dark Divide, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players won’t be wanting for new content just yet. There will be plenty for things to bide their time with until Call of Duty: Modern Warfare swaps out the superheroes and zombies for more grounded and realistic action, by Call of Duty standards anyway.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
